coordinate events like in house BBQ, massage and booked reservations for dinner and Bali access travel to airport included with 7 night stay. Across the street to the beach in 10 minute push with shopping and restaurants options all close by including Starbucks. Staff were so helpful and morning breakfast flexible to match energy. Bathroom was wonderful for easy showering.

“Holiday treat”

Reviewed 7 Jul 2013

Largely it has been all said before in previous reviews. The villa and it's surrounds are user friendly for a electric or a manual wheelchair user. There is a fulltime staff member on site (Made) who is extraordinarily helpful, and cooks a most spectacular breakfast, lf you have a special request for breakfast she will attempt to make if for you (her pancakes and fried rice are delicious). Having Made on site, doesn't encroach on the holiday experience, she is very discreet and avails herself to you if needed. It is a beautifully appointed villa (you won't be disappointed), and the pool and pool hoist are fantastic, too lounge in a pool on a hot day, after sitting in a wheelchair all day and's a joy the cool pool water. Beyond the walls of the villa, the paths are bumpy, though l drove my electric wheelchair on the road on the bicycle path amongst the traffic, scary initially, then afterwards, l just zipped along with the traffic. Hint: keep moving. The beach front path, which goes for a few kilometres is totally wheelchair friendly (no hazardous bumps), with plenty of restaurants and stalls, and locals prepared to give you a great massage at a small price (negotiate) on the sandy beach (wheelchair ok) had my feet, neck head and shoulders massaged, a treat! Kadek who drives the wheelchair accesible bus (organised with accommodation) and his partner Deiwei are a wonderful source of information on the local sights. Go and visit the monkeys in Ubud, the steepled rice fields, and the views of the volcano (Agung) from a amazing viewing point, amongst the clouds. Marahall and Feri, the owners of the Villa G, were visiting Sanur whilst we there, which was our good fortune, as they are the perfect hosts. Thanks Koman and Irena who also work at the Villa G.

“A wonderful holiday”

Reviewed 7 Dec 2011

Stayed at VillaG in November with my dad who is in a wheelchair. Our stay was wonderful. Mum and dad had a stress free holiday - my sisters and I also really enjoyed our stay there. Made and her staff were very caring and nothing was to much trouble for them. The villa is perfect for people in Wheelchairs with no steps, all rails in toilets and showers and even a lift for the pool ! There are several restaurants nearby which are easily accessible for wheelchairs and the streets of Sanur are much easier than Kuta streets. If you dont want to go out for a meal, then try the inhouse BBQ - chefs come and cook a BBQ for you - beautiful ! We hired Bali access Travel to get out and about - van accommadates wheelchairs complete with all safety equipments Kadek and staff are superb...once again nothing was too much trouble to ask. Would highly recommend. We even managed to get dad a massage - they came to the Villa - dad was in heaven ! We will definitely stay at Villa G again (mum and dads health permitting as they are in their 80's) - once again I cant recommend the Villa G and staff highly enough We will be going back to Villa G again

“Villa G Sanur Bali”

This is a ideal location for peaple with special needs. Villa G at Ellora Villas has been designed with the needs of people with a disability, the lay out is wheelchair friendly, the bathrooms are very large with a hoist and other equipment to help with special needs. In short Villa G has given our Foster daughter the opertunity to enjoy Bali. We would like to thank the staff at Villa G for the fantastic service they provide, Made your a star.

“Villa G accessible - Accessible accommodation”

Reviewed 6 May 2011

Well set up Villa arrangement with a number of rooms available that wrap around a central courtyard pool. You can just hire a room as we did, or the whole Villa complex - villas are reasonably large villas. It's located at the end of long lane that starts at the busy main road through Sanur - it's very quiet. Positives If using a wheelchair, as I did, the rooms & courtyard work very well. The bathroom would be great for anybody. While this property is designed using universal design principles (accessible too all), it does this seamlessly - its Bali villa aesthetic is maintained & its mainstream accommodation. It's not the cheapest accommodation in Sanur but it's probably reasonably priced - it's certainly not expensive! Sanur Beach has a good path than runs for kilometres which is a bike come wheelchair friendly path - spare the heat. Cafes & restaurants abound. The young girls that maintain the property - nice, helpful, very tranquil Villa G can arrange a wheelchair accessible van, with rear entry lift, all modern safety belts & clamping, & a great driver. Negatives? Access from the Villa to that path along Sanur Beach. There seemed to be no wheelchair accessible short-cut diagonally across two or more blocks to the beach. This meant a 30-45 minute push in the heat to get to the beach, over tough paths, streets, traffic. Unless you get a car & that has its own complexities accessing the beach is a mission. I emailed the owners after my visit to determine a short-cut - no response - disappointed. A shortcut needs to be scouted out & made known at the Villa. For walkers, they can cut through in 5-10 minutes. I tried cutting through hotels with some success but I only because I told them I was eating there, otherwise, they are quite miserable about this courtesy. Very non-Balinese attitude I thought. Other negs? The usual dodgy paths, gutters, curb-cuts, bikes & cars on pathways - no worse than elsewhere in Bali.
