Located minutes from Silver Star resort, Sovereign Lake Nordic ski area and downtown Vernon. Castle on the Mountain offers guests a choice of self-catering holiday accommodation. The Gate House Cottage sleeps up to four guests and is a our premier self-contained home from home. The King bedroom with walk in wardrobe leads out to the hall way to the utility room with washer/dryer and past the bathroom with bath/shower into the open plan living area. There you will find a full kitchen, breakfast bar, dinning table and lounge area with two modern sofa beds, stone gas fireplace, LCD/TV, SAT/TV, BluRay, Wi-Fi & CD. The large wrap around deck has great views and seating for four. Outside the entrance door you will find the patio area with fire pit, hot tub, gas BBQ and more patio furniture. Below is the Lower Gate House Apartment which sleeps up to six guests and can be rented inconjunction with or separate from the Gate House Cottage. This two bedroom(1 Queen & bunk beds) basement apartment provides comfortable family holiday accommodation and is ideal for skiing or hiking holidays. The Bathroom has bath/shower and the kitchenette comes with a fridge freezer, two ring cooktop, microwave oven, electric grill, toaster and washer/dryer. The open plan lounge has seating for six with a futon for additional guests as well as SATTV, DVD and an electric fireplace. Outside there is lockable storage for skis or bikes etc. Up at the main building you will find the Allure Apartment which can sleep upto four, it has a King bedroom and private entrance. The Allure's bathroom has bath/shower and is accessed via the hallway which leads to the living space with full kitchen & lounge area complete with SatTV/DVD, CD, gas fireplace, Wi-Fi and double sofa bed. The picture window gives guests great views of the lake and valley below. Guests staying in the Allure apartment have easy access to the guest only hot tub and the breakfast lounge. Self-catering guests can join B&B guests for breakfast for an additional charge. Guests can rent any of these three accommodations for long or short stays, be sure to enquire about extended stay discounts.
