Description

No. 10 overlooks the square where the Obby Osses dance around the Maypole on May Day right in the centre of the town and just one block away from the Harbour side. On Mayday the views from the front bedroom are superb so book early as this cottage is very popular.

LOOK FOR MAYPOLE COTTAGES PADSTOW!!!

All of our four cottages are located right in the centre of Padstow, perfect for visiting all the town has to offer. Walking through the front door of No.10, you'll find a well-equipped kitchen with ceramic hob, oven, microwave, fridge, dishwasher and washing machine. The kitchen overlooks an open-plan sitting and dining area which leads out onto a secluded courtyard. Facing south-west this catches the summer sun and is an idyllic haven in the centre of town as well as a safe place for children to play. Table, chairs and parasol are provided. An extendable washing line and pegs is also available. The open plan lounge has a large comfortable sofa with a log burner for those cold winter evenings! The open plan kitchen - dining area - lounge makes a great social space.

At the back of the courtyard is a simple annex, separate to the main house, with bunk beds, en-suite shower room, lavatory and off-peak electric heater. The annex is secure and suitable for older children. A back gate gives access to Parnell Court, a private lane joining Mill Road with Llanadwell Street.

Upstairs in the main cottage are two double bedrooms with twin beds, which can be made up as doubles. Both have fully-fitted furniture providing plenty of storage space. Between the bedrooms is a modern wetroom with sink and lavatory.

All bedding, towels and tea towels are included in the price. Should you wish to bring your own, please let us know and we may be able to offer you a discount on the rent.

Being coastal, the Camel Estuary has its own micro-climate with some gorgeous sunny days in summer and winter. However, if it does rain the cottage has a flat screen TV with all freeview channels, DVD player and books for entertainment, central heating and log burner for warmth and washing machine and tumble drier for wet clothes – and excellent access to all Padstow's pubs! Wifi is available in all cottages. No. 10 Broad Street is cosy in winter and airy in summer, a perfect all-year venue for a family holiday.

During the summer season we are only able to offer full week bookings. Out of season we are happy to take short lets, so please always ask we and will help with any bookings whenever we can. We also have 3 other cottages available for rent in the same location. Some or all can be booked together at a discount for large groups. No.12 Broad St sleeps 4, No.5 Mill Road sleeps 4 and No.2 sleeps 2. Please go to our website for more details.

We do accept dogs for an additional charge of £15 per dog. This needs to be paid to us directly instead of through Holiday Lettings. Please get in touch to arrange payment.

We also do holidays in the South of France and The Gambia in West Africa! Please look for Armada Holidays Padstow France Gambia for more information.

“Disappointing”

Reviewed 2 Jul 2022

Ideal location in the centre of Padstow. The main house sleeps four people comfortably although the front bedroom was found to be a little tight to move around. Annex was perfect for children and one adult if prepared to sleep in a bunk bed, however very cold in the annex as the Dimplex heater did not work and the spare heater looked unsafe to use. There was very little wardrobe space too with the outside umbrella taking up a lot of the space. Could be made more comfortable/homely for individual use. The cottage itself was dated but clean, the pictures are a little depressing and unnecessary and found the TV too small for a large room/family viewing.

Response from the owner Yes, we're right in the centre of Padstow and proud of it!! No.10 is an old sail makers cottage and so we are only able to go so far with a modern layout. The heaters all work and are PAT tested! There's lots of wardrobe space!? It is possible to take down the umbrella if it offends! Most people find the cottage very comfortable and homely! We love the range of artwork on display! We prefer to be on the beach than in front of the TV!!!

“Ideal spot in Padstow, Lovely cottage which met all our family needs”

Reviewed 1 Nov 2020

We were apprehensive when arriving at accommodation as usually my wife can be very fussy about the cleanliness and suitability which can start the holiday off on a bad note. After dropping her and kids off I drove to park up car which I chose to stop at a farm next to Tesco (£24 for the week, a 10 minute walk away). I then got a call off wife in a very pleasing mood. She loved the cottage, the two bed room were spacious, enough room to fit a cot in them with room still to move around. The kitchen was well stocked up with equipment. The court yard was ideal for a morning drink and let the dog out and was secure. The annex is ideal for teenagers to have there own space (bunk beds, toilet sink and shower) and room to move around. Storage space was plenty for a weeks stay, but with washing machine and dryer this helped greatly especially as weather was not great while we were their. We would defiantly recommend this accommodation to friends and family if they are visiting Padstow.

Wonderful location in the centre of town! A little tired inside - could do with updating. Bathroom a little small for four adults, but the annex shower was excellent. Aside of that excellent - would recommend.
