Description

Situated in the Valle D'Aure in a beautiful and calm village close to all the major mountains, ideal for walking, ski or cycling holidays. The house built in 1876, has been carefully resorted to a high standard but retaining local character. Heches is a friendly village, with village shop, small Bar, Post Office and village school; it is situated in the foothills of the French Pyrenees at 800 metres altitude.

Parking in private courtyard with secure, dry space in the rear terrace to store Bicycles.

Very sunny aspect with sheltered, sun traps in the front courtyard and rear terrace.

Response from the owner I am sorry that the property was not up to our normal standards, but we had a misunderstanding, with the lady who prepares the property for letting. It is the first time this has happened, since we have owned the property (over 10 years). As a result there was some lack of preparation as outlined in the review. normally all aspects including the hot water are normally checking in advance. We will be sure to avoid any further disappointments. Richard and Emily Ault

“Excellent location for walking and cycling in the Pyrenees”

Great location for exploring the Pyrenees, walking or cycling. The village of Heches was very friendly with a good bar and shop. The house was a lovely mix of traditional and new, private garden and patio area for BBQ'S eating out and relaxing. The addition of a dishwasher and TV or wifi would be good .
