“This was a lillte gem”

Reviewed 5 Jul 2021

We rented this beautiful little thatched cottage for 2 of us in a stunning area of Donegal. The cottage was absolutely delightful and had everything you would need. Maxine the host had thought of everything from the 5 star hotel quality towels to dishwasher tablets. She provided tea, coffee, little bottles of shower gel and conditioner to fire wood and turf. There were even 2 fluffy throws to put over you on the couch when sitting at night if you were cold. She met us on arrival and gave us all the information that we needed. She answered any additional questons that we had by text very promptly. There was also a very informative folder provided with information on places to eat and nearby attractions to visit, local doctors/dentists numbers etc. There were some beautiful beaches very close by especially the stunning Boat Strand. I would also highly recommend Leo's in Crolly for eating. Very friendly staff and great food. Caislean Oir hotel in Annagry also serves very good food. Bonners bar is also just a walk away from the cottage. This is a stunning area of Donegal with plenty to see and do. A visit to Glenveigh National Park is a must and The Poison Glen along the way is also stunning.

“Most scenic location in the world.”

Reviewed 22 Sep 2019

The cottage was decorated and kept to a high standard. There was more than ample supply of clean linens plenty of dishes, pots and pans etc. The location was absolutely stunning, being located near the now designated, most beautiful views in the world, upon landing at Carrickfinn airport. Close to beautiful beaches, golf course and of course mount Errigal in the background. I highly recommend Mullaghduff Thatched cottage as a vacation location and as one of the most scenic locations in the world, I know you will not be disappointed.
