This well equipped, large detached property is perfectly situated, surrounded by acres of farmland and overlooking the green Garfagnana valley.
The house is perched on the hillside just 2.5km from the market town of Castelnuovo with its various shops, bars, restaurants, railway station, and famous Thursday morning market.
The house boasts 5 bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms, (one of which has WC and sink only).
The fifth bedroom and bathroom are situated on the ground floor just off the kitchen area, making an 'independent' sleeping area for those who wish to lose the rest of the party!
This house is a perfect option for those wanting to be immersed in countryside, yet close to civilisation...

A little about location:
An ideal location - very peaceful, but just 2.5km from the lively market town of Castelnuovo di Garfagnana with all facilities (see above) and 1hr north of medieaval Lucca - enjoy a day pottering in the market, exploring the designer shops, or walking/cycling around the enormous walls which are still fully intact and encircle the entire town; 15 minutes from the mediaeval town of Barga with its very good restaurants; 1 hr 50 mins from Florence, and 1 hr from the coast.
TOURIST TAX - Do note that there is a local stay tax applicable at €1 per person per night, up to a maximum of 5 nights. This does not apply to children under 14.
