Refurbished "Bridge House" has 3 double bedrooms, lounge, dining room, snug, galley style kitchen, bathroom (WC, wash basin and walk in shower) small front garden and large rear garden. "Bridge House" is on the River Owenea a fisherman's delight, you will require a permit to fish and we can advise you where to get one from. "Bridge House" is about 2 miles from the town of Glenties, which has a fine selection of shops supermarkets, a museum, restaurants and pubs. For golfers the Narin Portnoo Golf course is about 6 miles away. You are 20 minutes away from some of Ireland's beautiful blue flag beaches, again at Nairn, Port Noo and Rosebeg. The coastal town of Ardara is about 8 miles away with plenty shops pubs and restaurants. You are about 25 miles from the twin towns of Ballybofey/Stranorlar where there are fine shops restaurants, traditional pubs, an 18 hole golf course and the Balor Theatre. To get to Ballybofey/Stranarlor you will pass over the River Finn renowned for salmon and trout fishing just a thought. Your nearest pub about 2 miles away and is home to traditional Irish music. Enjoy plenty of hill walks the house is an ideal location for touring. Letterkenny 23 miles away. Historic Donegal Town 25 miles away. Met Annette our first day she is very welcoming and such a nice woman. There was a welcome package on arrival and everything that was needed for our stay. Turf left to light the fire which was lovely and cosy for nighttime. The house was so clean and a lovely place to stay! Would definitely recommend. Situated just a 5 minute drive from the town it is lovely. Lovely scenery and a nice quiet place to relax and have a holiday. Overall a very pleasant stay would 100% go back.

“Everything you would ever need to have a great holiday”

The accommodation was spotless and within easy access to Glenties. The people we met we're very friendly and helpful. Our old dog had a whole garden to himself and he loved sleeping by the peat fire. The fridge had milk and bread and there was plenty of tea and coffee available in the cupboard. Highly recommended

“Outstanding Glenties property”

Husband and I booked into this property from Australia. While it was isolated, everything you could possibly need for a great holiday was provided. The bread, milk, butter and eggs left by the owner were a really lovely touch. The ample supply of peat and kindling was offset by the fact that we had to go out and buy matches to start the fire. We found the property to be lovely and clean - until I moved one of the cushions on the lounge. Hair, chips/biscuits, lolly wrappers and pieces of tassels that had come off the cushions were lurking there. Also did not see hide nor hair of the owner which I thought was a little off. Met her mum on Day 1, but that was the only time we saw her as well. Compendium was very helpful with local knowledge.

We take pride in out standards that we offer and we think that the "secret den" you found was left by the children from the previous guest, so thanks for spotting that and we will add that to check when we clean. “comfortable stay for excelllent value”

we had a very comfortable stay, beautiful house. very good location, near to beach. Owners were very welcoming, they left us milk, juice and cookies on arrival. will definitely go back.
