Description

Bentley villa (named by our guests as James Bond) has recently been constructed and is of the highest quality.

Located in the desirable altos de Cofresi it overlooks the Cofresi beach complex and has far reaching views along the entire north coast. The villa has 7 large bedrooms all ensuite luxury bathrooms (marble tops), A/C, balconies, TV and telephone outlets. Over 45 original works of art . Main living area has mezzanine floor with 16ftx 12ft mural and 3 walk out doors to large balconies and hot tub. The games complex (billiard table, , etc.) has an equipped (6 piece)gymnasium and separate cinema with projector. The infinity swimming pool (60000 gallons) has 2 islands with bridge and uses all commercial pool fittings. The heated jetted pool on the main living area floor has a waterfall that cascades down to the huge main pool and a seated grotto. A 10 minute to beach and Ocean world. Villa is valued at US $1.7 mm.

Full maid service, pool boy and chef included.

All the bedrooms are at least queen size and uniquely decorated with their own modern bathrooms.

There are several other patios on the property as well as an 900 square foot observation patio.

All furnishings are new and to the highest standard with various paintings commissioned by famous Dominican artists.

Bentley villa is ideal for small groups or families with formal dining in the dining room or on the balcony.

Our housekeeper and chef, Santa will prepare your meals from a large range of international dishes and serve you snacks and refreshments as you require.

All our staff are discreet and will afford you all the privacy you desire and the villa unlike others is not overlooked by anyone so topless bathing or midnight skinny dipping is not a problem.

On arrival at the villa Carlos will familiarise you with everything and give you the keys.

The famous north coast beach of Cofresi is less than 10 minutes walk away and has over 1 mile of golden sand as well as excellent snorkeling. One can rent jet-skis, canoes and fishing trips are available. It is also shared by two international world class resorts whose facilities including restaurants, internet and shops are available to our villa.

Next to the beach is the famous marine eco park, Ocean world which is definitely worth a day visit and amongst many other attractions one can literally spend an hour swimming with tamed dolphins. Ocean world is presently completing a new restaurant complex with casino and disco-tec and has a marina which will be able to berth up to 100 yachts

There are whole arrays of other activities in the area including some of the Caribbean’s best golf resorts within 15 minutes away. The Puerto Plata cable car will give you spectacular views and should you wish visit the Ambar Museum in town where you can also buy amber and Larimar jewelry as well as world famous cigars and local paintings in the nearby shops.

All within less than a half hour drive are the beaches of Costambar, Long beach, Maimon, Playa Dorada and Sosua. For night life Puerto Plata and surrounding areas is second to none and has many discos, night clubs and casinos.

One of the most popular activities are the various safari tours that will pick you up right from Cofresi and include trips to the rain forests, white water rafting and to the water falls in the nearby mountains, that is however if you can bear to leave the villa! We will reply to all enquiries

HOW FAR IS THE VILLA FROM THE AIRPORT?

The villa is about a 25 minute drive from Puerto Plata airport, transport can be arranged to pick you up for an additional fee. Please let me know when making the booking. The cost for this is $50 cash to be paid directly to the driver (as local law will not allow us to transport guests).

SHOULD I RENT A CAR?

We do recommend a car rental as although the villa is walking distance to the beach it can get very hot. A rental car is also a great idea to be able to explore the area, as there are lots of activities and sites to keep you busy during your stay.

HOW FAR IS THE BEACH?

Cofresi beach is just under ten minutes walk, this is down a road with a slight slope thus if small children are in your group I recommend driving, especially when it is sunny and hot! Sun loungers are available to rent on the beach for a fee of approximately 100/150 pesos per lounger (equivalent to around $2).

The beach has some great little restaurants and is very peaceful, a perfect spot for a morning coffee, afternoon beer or a relaxing evening meal.

IS FOOD INCLUDED IN THE RENTAL?

Unfortunately our villa rental does not include a fully stocked fridge. Several large supermarkets are situated in the centre of Puerto Plata and they offer a great selection of produce. (If you would like a list of all the local supermarkets I can email this to you) If you require a meal upon arrival we can supply this for an additional fee. Often our guests will go to the supermarket with Santa as she will arrange the meals but she will shop on your behalf if so required

DO I NEED TO DO ALL OF THE COOKING? Goodness no! A cook is provided with the booking and is available from 8am to 3pm every day. It is customary to prepare the main meal for lunch time, if you would like to eat a hot meal in the evening the cook can leave this prepared for you. A menu is provided which features a mixture of American, English and Dominican cuisine. Vegetarian requirements can be catered for, and what you eat really depends on what you buy from the local supermarket!
