“Great time in Cabarete !” Loved my stay in Cabarete ! Condo was very clean, quite, almost on the beach and very close from downtown Cabarete. You feel in perfect security there with gards 24h/24 at the gate. The superb beach is very close from the condo I rented. Had to walk about 100 meters. The pool was touching my condo. No wind, very quite. Very clean. Some shops just outside the residence where you can get good food and drinks. You can walk to downtown Cabarete (about 3-4 min) but the best is to ride a "motoconcho". It takes you to the main street of Cabarete in 1 min max for 50 pesos. “Greatest kitesurfing vacation ever!” Contacting, booking and follow-up with Sonja, the property manager, was easy and smooth. Airport a 20 min taxi drive to apartment complex, and is 40$US. Sonja can arrange just ask her. The facility is clean, wonderful and approx. 2000 sq ft with 3 bedrooms 3 full baths. Clean kitchen and easy to cook at. Cleaning crew comes every other day. Nothing stolen from apt and I kept all my money and passport out on my night table. They do provide a safe in the bedroom but I guess I took my chances and didnt need it. Security is tight, requiring specific passes to get in and out of the apartment property grounds. Easy to get to the beach for kitesurfing and is about a 2 minute walk... if that. Not a problem to carry your boards, kites and extra gear to the beach to start your incredible session. Wind was approximately 16-26 knots from 12:30-7:30 pm. Kite house is in front of facility on beach so very close again possibly 2 min 30 seconds from apartment. Pool available is clean and awesome for night swim after kiting.. 30 second walk from room. Restaurants are an 8 minute walk on the beach... so awesome and beautiful. Strip of restaurants ranging from 5$ to 20$ per plate. Food amazing there and safe to walk to. This is 5/5 star apartment and apartment complex that really feels like being at home. Cable TV great with many channels. Internet/WIFI access, is good. Comfortable, large, convenient, easy kite access, clean.... outstanding! I have recommended to many friends... and some of them are already contacting the owner to book. Do not hesitate to stay at this location if you kitesurf... you will not regret.

Overall easy access to the beach, restaurants and a shop. The swimming pool is also a plus. Safe neighborhood. If you look for a quite, stress free holidays this is a perfect place!

“Perfect family holiday!!!” This was our 4th year in Harmony apt 211 with our 4 children (7,5,3 and 1). It really is the perfect location with all amenities one could ask for. The condo is well equipped, clean and tastefully decorated, the location is prime, far enough away from town to not have the noise but close enough to stroll in for dinner or ice-creams in safety. My husband and I are keen Kitesurfers and we had the time to be both parents and kiters!! We look forward to next year already!

“Wonderful time in Playa Dorada” We stayed in Playa Dorada for the month of March 2014 and we really enjoyed it. I have travel a lot and stayed in many different hotel and condos, but this was the best. What you see on the internet, is the absolute truth. Cindy is a very honest and caring owner. I did have a couple minor issues during my stay, but they were quickly handle after I contacted Cindy. The condo is fantastic with very nice and comfortable furnitures and TVs, and the kitchen is ultra modern. We also really appreciated the outdoor BBQ (a very big and nice BBQ). The San Marino complexe is very nice and secure. The swimming pool is big and clean and the beach is only a five minutes walk from the condo, and at the beach you have very nice chairs and umbrellas. The staff at San Marino is excellent, the laundry service is great and not expensive. The condo is only ten minutes to Puerto Plata by taxi where you have the Las Sirenas store which is just like a WalMart (this is where we when for grocery shopping) they also have a Domino's Pizza. I visited the old San Felipe Fort, I went to the top of the mountain in the teleferic and had a really great time visiting many places around Puerto Plata. The only thing missing as far as I am concern, is something like a seven eleven in the plaza in the front of the condo. They have many things, but not your basic like bread, cold meat, butter and eggs. Beside that, they have many things. With all the condos being built around Playa Dorada, maybe someone will invest in a seven eleven or something like that. Beside that, everything was excellent, and God willing, I will go back next year.

“Perfect For a Family. Best Owner Hospitality! Great for Cooking” Newly renovated. We have 3 teenagers who need their own space. Everyone had their own beds and we had the entire penthouse suite to ourselves! Kitchen was beautiful and functional. Everything you need. Since it's a penthouse there is a large balcony facing out (with trees). Every day we ate all our meals, read books and at night played games out there. Weather is nice even in the evening or in the rain. Never used the inside table for eating. Since the bathrooms' sink separate; it's multi-user without waiting. This property was quiet and safe. We travel a lot and felt a lot more safe here than Mexico; travelling with teens... Cindy was the best owner I have ever encountered and we rent often. With Wi-Fi at the center of the complex, free messaging worked great. She provided so much information and help. Since she speaks 2 languages, she would call the front desk and arrange anything. I have a bad medical condition and since our King bed was hurting bad, she had a bed topper shipped immediately at her expense! So now vacationers have 2 choices. Since 1/2 her family is local, she arranged many trustworthy excursions from her U.S. home. She arranged a great driver at reasonable cost in a superbly clean Honda van (we are too big for a car). Believe me, after a few other taxi rides, he's a safer driver and spoke decent English for local info. The beach was pristine and not too busy. We walked a long way on both sides and this is the most protected from winds, less busy and with an open restaurant/ bar right there. Also since many locals own in this resort, not too many venders bother this area! Are the pictures accurate? No. It's actually nicer than it shows. Really! Proximity to everything is nice. Short taxi rides to a Walmart type supermarket and a lot of attractions. Taxis at the gate hose you. Use Cindy or recommendations from other owners in the resort for transport. Cindy also gave us a valuable restaurant list. She is very organized. Great 14 day vacation!

“Our excellent Dominican Vacation” Our family just spent a wonderful and relaxing week at the Villa. What's not to like? The house is roomy (4 bedrooms), spotlessly clean, well maintained, decorated beautifully in warm tropical colors and with authentic Dominican artwork, and best of all it sits right on the ocean in a gated community an easy drive from the Puerto Plata airport. The ocean view from the very private backyard is fantastic. A two minute walk brings you to a drop dead gorgeous crescent-shaped beach with calm shallow waters. Golf course and health club are right down the street. Any number of exceptional restaurants are a short drive away. Heartily recommend!

“Beautiful pool - great vacation in the sun!” My husband and I spent two months at Las Canas this winter. The apartment was all that we needed to totally enjoy our time in the Dominican Republic. It is a clean and comfortable one bedroom apartment. There is a stove, small fridge, and the basic kitchen items needed to prepare your meals. We enjoyed the nice breezes and did not need to use the air conditioner at all. Simone is excellent to rent from. He arranged airport pickup for us and if we ever had any questions or concerns he was very quick to respond. The pool at Las Canas is wonderful. It is huge and very well maintained. The staff at the complex were also very friendly and accomodating. The complex shuttle will transport you into Sosua for a cost of 25 pesos; it will take you to the Playero where you can buy groceries. There is also a small store in the complex if you need basic supplies. The complex also has a restaurant and bar that are open every evening. We loved the weather, the location, and the people we met on this vacation and would not hesitate to book with Simone next year!

“Great private place to stay!!” I stayed on Dec. 10th for two nights had reservation for three but had to leave due to an emergency this is the second time I stay at this location the owners were super friendly and made sure all of out needs were being met.....the place is peaceful and very relaxing...I left an USB chip behind by accident and got contacted by Lynda to let me know how she could get that to me...I am looking forward to staying there on my next trip in the summer...if you are looking for a place where you are not so close to all the hustle and bustle this is the place the beach is right across the street and we traveled about an hour away seeing the nice beaches along the way.....thanks Lynda and Les hope to see you again in the future :)

“Fantastic!” We enjoyed the condo, patio space and pool area, they are fantastic! The walk to the beach, beach bars and the local store are close, but just far enough to have a nice short walk. We really enjoyed the Cabarete area.
