**Newly Renovated** Modern, bright, comfortable apartment located in a quiet residential area on the edge of town. A short 10 minute walk into Oban's bustling town centre, shops, restaurants and Ferry Terminal. The decking and outdoor furniture provide fantastic outside space and views over the roof tops of Oban to Oban Bay. Benefits include complimentary super-fast WiFi, smart tv with freeview and private off street parking. A bus stop for a regular local bus service is a few meters away.

Roseacre Garden Apartment is a completely independent annex at the back of our family home. The apartment is compact, modern and bright and has everything you need to make a home from home.

The double bedroom sleeps 2 and is quiet and cosy with a double sized bed, chest of drawers, built in wardrobe, TV, DVD and hair drier. We have a travel cot and and air bed available which would allow a child to stay.

The newly extended and upgraded shower room has a power shower, WC and wash hand basin. Hand and bath towels, hand soap and toilet roll are provided.

The open plan lounge, kitchen and dining area has recently been reconfigured. There is a comfortable leather settee, comfy chair and footstool, smart TV with Freeview, breakfast bar, microwave, washing machine, electric cooker and oven, fridge and Tassimo coffee machine. There are books and DVD's as well as local travel guides and maps.

The living room opens out through patio doors onto a bright sunny decking with table and chairs which has stunning views over the roof tops to Oban Bay, perfect for soaking up some Scottish sun after a busy day island hopping or beach combing!

Bed linen, bath and hand towels, tea towels, kitchen roll, coffee, tea, sugar, washing up liquid, cleaning products, hand soap and toilet paper are all included in the price.

**COVID-19**

We are committed to ensuring that every inch of the apartment is spotlessly clean and disinfected between guests. We wash linen, towels, and mattress and pillow protectors with antibacterial washing liquid and change at every clean. We wear the relevant PPE while carrying out the cleaning. Cleaning products, hand sanitiser and laundry bags are provided to help you to keep the apartment clean during your stay.

**Due to the elevated location of the property there are 15 steps down to the garden and a further 6 up to the entrance of the flat. The walk back from town involves a fairly steep but short hill.**

Our local Tesco’s does home delivery so you can organise your supplies before you come.

My husband and I are Oban born and bred and with our two daughters we are often out and about exploring our local area. We eat out regularly too so we are happy to share insider tips and information on places to visit and restaurant recommendations.

Getting around

There is a regular public bus route which stops a few yards from the house and runs all around town. A 416 and a 417 will take you to most places in town. Oban and surrounding area is easily navigated using public transport so your car can stay in the drive. There are a couple of options for bike hire in town. We don’t have Uber but there are plenty of taxi’s. There is a regular train between Oban and Glasgow stopping at lots of interesting locations in the way.

Interaction with guest

As a result of the pandemic we have decided to give guests as much space as possible and not greet them in person on arrival. There is a key safe outside the apartment for you to access the keys. As we live on site we are of course available any time if you have any questions or problems. Our family use the garden when the weather allows but will never use the private decking or steps to the apartment. I will always make contact to ensure guests have settled in within a few hours.

“Excellent Place to stay”

We had a great week in this modern apartment and I would recommended it to any couple looking for a relaxing stay in Oban. A great decking area overlooking Oban to have your breakfast and your fish and chips in the evening after a long day out and about. Easy 15 min walk to the ferry terminal to visit the islands with loads of bars and restaurants and easy 15 mins drive to get the boat to the other local islands which is a must.

Great little place with a great location, only a few blocks from downtown. The last two are uphill along the quiet road. Pleasant couple, renting a nice apartment, with all the needed amenities.

Had no difficulty locating the property from the detailed information provided by owner Gillian. On arrival Gillian gave a comprehensive introduction to the accommodation and the area's attractions/facilities. Very helpful and good use made of suggestions. Well laid out unit containing all that is required and more. Very good wi-fi. Slept well. View from balcony included water views. Easy drive to town, about 7 minutes and to the ferry wharf. Understood that at times parking in town could be at a premium. On those occasions you could Catch the bus that passed the front door. Enjoyed an extremely comfortable stay at the Roseacre Garden Appartment.
