Casale d’Asso is an ancient 18th-century holiday house, recently restored, on the edge of small Medieval hamlet which has been the property of the Piccolomini family for six hundred years, an ancient family whose name is strongly tied to the Italian Renaissance. Situated in the whereabouts of San Giovanni d’Asso, centrally located between the “Crete Senesi” and the Orcia valley, south of Siena, the accommodation is ideal for all those who want to get away from all the stress of daily life, finding themselves surrounded by a landscape which knows no age or for those who would like to visit the nearby towns of Siena, Montalcino, Montepulciano, Bagno Vignoni, Cortona and Pienza. Outside the house there is a large garden where a trapezium-shaped pool is, representing a stylized bird (78 m2, 1.2 – 2m deep)(01/05-30/09). The swimming pool area is equipped with sunbeds and a pergola with a table and chairs. In front of the holiday house there is a large patio with a barbeque, wood-fired oven and table-tennis table. The accommodation has wi-fi Internet connection, baby bed and central heating. If requested ( paying on location) you can have a maid service, babysitter, cookery courses, mid-weekly linen change, chef, shopping delivery on arrival. Car park on the property.
