This comfortable, ground floor cottage on the edge of Portsalon sleeps five people in three bedrooms.Ferrys is a welcoming, ground floor cottage set on the edge of Portsalon, County Donegal. There are three bedrooms, a bathroom and an open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area with multi-fuel stove. Outside, there is off road parking for three cars, along with a front gravelled area with furniture. Within easy reach of Ferrys in the coast and golf course at Portsalon, making this a superb base for your Donegal getaway.
Amenities: Oil central heating with multi-fuel stove. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, washing machine, TV with Saorview, DVD, selection of books, games and DVDs. Fuel, power and starter pack for stove inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Off road parking for 3 cars. Front gravelled area with furniture. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop and pub 10 mins walk. Note: There are two small steps into two of the bedrooms.
Region: The West of Ireland conjures up many images; thatched, whitewashed cottages, a flock of sheep on a narrow road, an emerald green field with a stone wall, or the Atlantic waves crashing into towering cliffs and rocky shores.
Town: Resting on the western bank of Lough Swilly is the tiny seaside resort of Portsalon, home to one of Irelands top golf courses. Portsalon makes for a wonderful base for exploring the Fanad Peninsula, and boasts a picturesque harbour at Ballymastocker Bay, where you will find one of the most spectacular beaches in Ireland.
