Description
Holly House is a great all year round family holiday house with a super shared games barn. The house sits in 60 acres of farmland with beautiful views and lovely walks. The house is partially powered with electricity from a micro hydro scheme run by a lovingly restored old mill wheel on the farm and the house has a gold award from the Green Tourism Business Scheme for providing an environmentally aware, family holiday accommodation. The games barn has table tennis, table football, pool table ,a 16 ft trampoline with safety net and a selection of ride on farm toys. In Winter guests have use of the farm's nursery ski and sledging slope. EV chargepoint available to guests .

House rules
During Covid-19 situation our shared games barn can only operate on a rota basis for weekly stays to give each house some time with exclusive use. We are also requesting guests provide their own linen, that is towels and where possible bed linen

“Holly House”
Lovely property which sleeps 9. Situated in beautiful countryside next to the owner’s farm. Very nicely furnished with quality fittings and comfortable beds. Owner’s responded quickly and were very friendly. Great garden and a play barn. Would recommend.

“A great week in a great location.”
We have had the most wonderful week. The house was immaculate, warm cosy and welcoming. Alistair the owner called on the day of our arrival to check that everything was fine as it should be. The surrounding area offers lots to do for all ages, there are play parks nearby for the toddlers as well as historic places for those that are into that. Our problem was dragging the children away from the on-site playbarn.
