Description
Situated in a lovely rural setting, Orchard View is situated in a small hamlet of houses to the north east of Loch Leven; you can cycle and walk from the front door; the National Cycle Network and the Loch Leven Heritage Trail are both accessed from the end of the farm track, with the Trail providing safe off-road walking and cycling around the Loch to Kinross and RSPB, Vane Farm. Whilst you can walk to our local pub, the Balgedie Toll is a 5 minute walk away, offering a full lunch and evening menu, we have the award winning Loch Leven Larder farm shop only 3 minute walk away, at the end of the track. This offers shopping along with daytime food/drink, including a deli counter, and other locally sourced foodstuffs. The Loch Leven Heritage Trail provides a convenient off-road option to walk or cycle into Kinross, which is less than 10 minutes drive by car, providing shops, chemists, sports facilities, health services, park & ride links to major towns/cities, as well as good Motorway and A road access. Perth is only 20 minutes away by car, Gleneagles and St.Andrews are both within 35 minutes, Edinburgh, Stirling and Dundee are 40 minutes.

“Excellent”
Just perfect. Had a lovely holiday, great location, clean and has everything you need. Could not fault anything. Would definitely recommend this cottage to anyone wanting to visit Scotland.

“Great weekend”
Fantastic place to stay. Well equipped, very clean and spacious. The host was lovely and very helpful and the shortbread treat was a nice surprise. Would definitely recommend this as a place to stay.
