Our large 4 bedroom house with high speed fibre internet connection is in the heart of the charming village of Maureillas. Just a 5 minute drive from the larger market town of Ceret it provides the perfect base for a relaxed and stress free holiday. Ideally situated between spectacular mountains and glorious sandy beaches this is the perfect place to spend your holidays.
Newly refurbished retaining the traditional character features; roof beams, terracotta floors, ceiling fans, french doors and lots of natural light.
Located in the heart of the village, a restaurant, bar and village shops are a short stroll away, larger shops are a five minute drive away.
Relax under the dappled shade of the olive tree, play on the lawn or soak up the sun on the terraces, the outdoor spaces can cater for everyone.
Perfect for families or small groups at any time of year.

“Relaxing Views with Real Catalan Charm”
We loved staying in this Maureillas village house! The owners were both helpful throughout the booking process and welcoming when we arrived. It's perfect for a relaxing stay in the foothills of the French Pyrenees and being so close to Perpignan, Collioure and Spanish Costa Brava, there are no shortage of things to do. Of course, you can always put your feet up and admire the mountain views from the lovely back garden, or try one of the village bars/restaurants for some real Catalan hospitality. Please can we come back again?

Beautiful, spacious, comfortable house in friendly village. Perfect base to explore this region or border-hop to Spain. Lovely hosts made us feel very welcome. Five stars all round!

“Great House in an idealic setting within easy driving distance to great beaches.”
The house was simply lovely and all it said it was. Good proportioned rooms and great sitting area/ porch overlooking garden. The village was beautiful with its little alleys and the house was a 75 yard walk to a great wee bar and restaurant in the village square. The scenery round about was also stunning and close to the town of Ceret with its own charm. Striking distance to Perpignan and a host of fine beaches even nearer. You do need a car though in order to get the best out of the area. The owners live nearby and are really friendly and welcoming. Loved the short walk in the morning to buy the bread and croissants definitely would go back and recommend the house to anyone.

Thank you Hazel and Ade for a wonderful stay in your charming house. It is quite apparent that you have lavished much time, energy and love on the restoration of this fine property. All finishes are first class - really can't find a thing to moan about ! House is spacious with a large and well equipped dining kitchen. Bedrooms bright and airy with comfortable beds. Bathrooms stylish and spotlessly clean. Location is superb - just yards to the pretty village square with a friendly little bar and a restaurant. Bread shop round the corner for your morning baguettes. Supermarkets a short drive away for everything else. Strongly recommend a visit to the local lake for a dip - only 10 minutes by car. Ceret - the town nearby is a must too. Characterful and picturesque with a great market. Great beaches half an hour or so away so spoilt for choice.

“A real Gem in a stunning part of France”
This house in Maureillas is a real gem. It has been very lovingly refurbishment by the owners to a fantastic standard. We stayed early on in its new life as a holiday house and it will no doubt continue to get even better as work continues to make it a really special place to spend time. The owners are both artists and that is so apparent in the house itself with lovely little touches everywhere and details that make it an out of the ordinary experience. They could not have been nicer or more helpful, from our initial contact to when we arrived and throughout our stay. They clearly love the house and the village and are really helpful with where to go and what to do, the good restaurants and local tips about getting the most out of your stay. Maureillas itself is the quintessential Pyrenean village with fabulous old townhouses and a triumphant square with a little bar. There are local shops, boulangerie for fresh bread and goodies every morning and even a cork museum! The museum tells you all about the cork trees you'll see everywhere as you explore the gorgeous countryside. We did lots of lovely walks into the Pyrenees straight from the front door, and even walked across the mountains into Spain one of the days which was a real thrill. The local town of Ceret is very chic and has nice restaurants and a great market. We went to a swimming lake with zip wires a short drive away and also to the gorgeous beaches on the coast which are about 25 minutes away in the car. If you're prepared to drive for about an hour you can explore the Spanish coast too and even the famous Salvador Dali museum in nearby Figures which we loved. I would highly recommend stay here :-)
