Three Bed Room Tourism Ireland approved Self-catering Townhouses near River Erne in Belturbet, County Cavan, Ireland - these townhouses are located beside Kilconny Bridge over the River Erne in the charming, olde world town of Belturbet, which has welcomed many visitors from all over the world over the last 50 years. County Cavan is often called "The Lake County" as it hosts 365 lakes, and the green pastures create a welcoming backdrop for all visitors. Belturbet is an ideal destination for Anglers, Golfers, Family Tree and Genealogy Hunters, and for those looking for an central base to conduct sight seeing tours of the northern half of the island of Ireland. Guests find destinations like Sligo, Donegal, Derry, Belfast, Giants Causeway, all possible to visit within one day, and return back to base in time to either cook dinner, or visit one of the many restaurants and bars within walking distance. Recent visitors from Belfast have found Belturbet to be a lively place to visit for a mates weekend away golfing and enjoying the pints of Guinness and music in the locals pubs which they found to be so welcoming! Many families attending weddings locally, Feile or Fleadhs also stay here, to have a home from home, and yet finding themselves near the local wedding venues like the Slieve Russell in Ballyconnell, Erigal House in Cootehill, Kilmore Hotel or the Farnham Estate in Cavan. Some guests have stayed here, whilst attending a wedding in Castle Leslie, Glaslough, County Monaghan. Some guests have stayed here for longer periods whilst working in the area for assignments or short-term projects. Special longer term rental rates available on request in advance! Flynn's Bar & Lounge, Old World style surroundings and Antique displays; Beer Garden and events and local Music from time to time: Seven Horse Shoes Bar and Restaurant. Brendan Fay's Widows Bar - home of Irish Traditional Music, Sean Maguire's Yukon Bar - bar and off Sales. Castle Bar & Railway Bar on The Diamond. Cosy Bar on Bridge Street - with weekend music and beer garden.

Proprietor or family member on site almost always, and living a few doors away. Handyman on call always. Guests kept informed of all activities of likely interest locally. Cavan General Hospital 17km, with Doctor On Call 24 hours daily. Guests have appreciated the Breakfast Deli and fresh bakery available at Mace some 100m away, available each morning from 7.00am. Guests have also enjoyed the welcoming atmosphere at Flynn's Bar and Beer Garden just around the corner, which hosts a Traditional Music Session monthly. Summer 2021 - 2 licensed premises serving Food in Belturbet i.e. The Seven Horse Shoes Hotel and The Castle Sports Bar (Gastro Bar). Both within walking distance

Had a lovely week, this house is well worth the money. A welcoming package plus wood and even firelighters. Anthony couldn't do more for us, we shall be back.
