Description

Traditional self catering village house for rent in beautiful Apricale, choosen one of the most beautiful villages of Italy.
Apricale's privileged location means one can explore both the Italian "Riviera dei Fiori" and the French Riviera.
Apart from the coast with it's beaches and lovely restaurants only a 15 min. drive away, there are lots of adorable villages to be discoverd, Dolceaque with it's amazing roman bridge being one of them.
Great choice of excelent restaurants in the village and nearby, there is a little foodshop for your daily needs and a newsagent/tabac. Great base to go for walks in totally unspoilt surroundings. One can take a dip in one of the rockpools in the rivers nearby, go skying in winter in Limone for the day, only 1 1/2 hrs. drive away, play golf in San Remo, the choice is yours.
But if one just wants to get away from it all and chill, Apricale is the place for you! The lovely square offers 2 bar/restaurants and it is a great place to sit and watch Italian village live unfold itself while sipping a great coffee or lovely glass of vino.
There is free wifi available, as is the case at Apricus Osteria and bar, worth a visit without the need for wifi as well!
We brought the house into this century but we tried very hard to preserve it's old caracter.
Most ceilings are vaulted, and some of the stone the house sits on and was build with is visable.
One enters Casa Ristretta at kitchen level and from there steps lead up to the covered roof terrace with table and chairs for al fresco dining, a Weber BQ is at your disposal as are 2 lounge chairs with a lovely view onto Perinaldo.
Down from the kitchen steps lead to small living area, and good sized bedroom with king size double.
The bathroom is on a lower level and has a walk in shower and a seperate full size bath. Tiled with travertine marble.
The house IS over 4 floors so there are steps to consider.
Apricale is traffic free apart from 3 wheelers that are used to bring suplies to the shops and restaurants but there is free parking available at public parking area's around the village.
