Description
A 19th century traditional winery renovated into a minimal villa with open view to the Aegean sea. The property is located in one the most serene parts of Santorini, far from the touristic crowds, overwatching the village of Akrotiri.
The house has a spacious living room with a kitchen incorporated. Built-in stairs lead to a small mezzanine, right over the kitchen where an extra bed is located. A small door connects the mezzanine to the upper terrace.
The master bedroom is attached to the living room. It has a king size bed and a private bathroom.
The second bedroom has an indipendent entrance from the main yard. It has a double bed and its own bathroom as well.
The house has a variety of outdoor spaces, both courts and terraces with beautiful view to the south coast of the island. According to the time of the day, there is always an area with natural shadow.
The old winery was renovated following the bioclimatic principles, providing natural ventilation and light throughout the day. Due to its south orientation, the property is protected from the north winds that usually blow during summertime.
The house is recommended for visitors seeking an alternative experience of Santorini, away from the buzzling touristic areas. It is ideal for people who are looking for serene atmosphere and amazing view to the Santorini volcanic landscape, in a minimal handcraft environment.
