Description
Anyone who has stayed at Teach Aisling (Irish for Dream House), an eloquently refurbished farmhouse has been awestruck by the peace and tranquillity the house and surrounding land offers. Teach Aisling is located on 5.5 acres of private land, is adjacent to Kindrum Lough and has private walks around the beautifully rugged private gardens . The area is a special area of conservation (SAC) and the wildlife is spectacular, including Golden eagles, buzzards, otters and foxes in the area. The best fishing location on the lake is just a stone's through from the house – the lakes contain brown trout, rainbow trout and wild Atlantic char. TeachAisling is a 5 minute drive from the beach and the Atlantic ocean. The Fanad Peninsula has some of the most beautiful coast line in the world.

“Kerrykeel”
The house was lovely. Beds comfortable, house warm and lots of outside space. On the downside, no TV for the kids whilst it was raining. Very small kitchen. Very reasonable price though

“Weekend”

“10/10”
Took a group of 10 people up to this place for a weekend & had the best time, area is in a handy location, 15/20 minute drive away from Portsalon where we spent a day at the beach. The lake at the house is amazing, we took an inflatable boat out where another day was spent. The house had everything we needed, stocked up with the basics, toilet roll, etc, and the bedrooms were all so comfy and clean. The fire place was stocked (and then replaced) with logs and firewood and recommend having it on, made the living room even cozier. Plenty of space for all of us to do whatever we wanted without being on top of eachother, and a big garden was great when the weather was good! Host was lovely and informative also, highly recommend this place Thanks Damien

“Beautiful place”
Wonderful house with the most gorgeous surroundings. Lots of rooms to relax in. Very comfy beds. Private paths to the lake. A few minutes drive to one of the many beaches. Great location for exploring. Felt very lucky to have found Teach Aisling.
