Lovely warm cottage in a very welcoming part of Donegal. Great value for short or long term breaks. Ardara is famous for its
spectacular scenery, beautiful unspoilt beaches and the hospitality of its people. The cottage has a sea and mountain view on the WILD ATLANTIC WAY. Convenient to Sliabh Liag cliffs, Killybegs Fishing Harbour & Glencolmcille.
A 3 bedroom cottage situated on one acre, 5 minute car ride from the Heritage Town of Ardara on the Portnoo road.
Accommodation consists of 3 Double bedrooms with built in Oak Wardrobes / Dressing Table / Lockers and headboards matching.
Wood floors in 2 bedrooms. Bathroom with large shower tray and electric shower, floor and walls tiled.
Livingroom with Stone Fireplace and solid fuel stove. Microwave, T.V. & DVD player.
Magohney built in TV & Storage Units, tiled floor in livingroom, kitchette and hallway.
Kitchette off living room is well equipped with electric cooker,extractor, fridge and units.
Out House includes Washing Machine, Dryer and storage facilities.
Lawns front and back with stone wall and hedge surround.
Ideal location for Walking, Cycling, Mountain Climbing, Salmon Fishing in the famous Ownea River , Pitch and Putt, eighteen hole golf course & blue flag beach in Narin/Portnoo, Diving at St. John's Point, Horse Riding, Sea Angling in Donegal Bay. 20 minute drive to Slieve League.
Domestic & Storage heating. Meter Reading taken on arrival and departure for the amount due. (please note electricity is charged per price at the time of the stay)

“Fabulous”
Everything was just perfect we would recommend this cottage to everyone a good taxi service efficient and reasonable cheap only one complaint there is no sea view but still no problem

“Wonderful”
We loved the house and immediately booked to return in September. Great central location, the house was warm and we didn't need to use much heating even though the weather was cool for the time of year. The house is great for dog owners, it has ceramic tile or laminate flooring making it easy to keep clean. We will be back very soon.

“Brilliant Place to Stay”
Thank you Mary for being very welcoming and for letting us stay in your lovely, comfortable and very warm house, especially with the toasty turf fire in the stove (which was lit on our arrival). We very much enjoyed looking out over the mountains and watching sunrises, sunsets and the antics of the lambs in the fields. It was very convenient to Ardara and close to some spectacular scenic drives and beaches, which our dog Rocky could not get enough of. Plenty of space to play ball and relax in the back garden after long days of sightseeing. We all loved it and hopefully be back with you next year (if not before). Thank you for a very memorable holiday
