Why us.........We've captured the intrigue and magic of a bygone era……. Come and see………

Chateau Bavolier is a Home Holiday Rental. We offer our rooms on a nightly basis . The chateau is a total of 300 sq meters benefiting from 4 meter high ceilings. Our accommodation rental (room) is furnished with antique king-size bed with en suite bathroom. The formal lounge for guests has original hand painted panels adorning the walls, baby grand piano with huge comfortable sofas. You can enjoy your breakfast in the elegant dining room. As a final note all bedrooms have a stereo for your listening pleasure alongside Luxury white crisp cotton bed linen. Hairdryers, bubble bath, candles and heaps of Luxury white cotton towels are also supplied…… Sheer Decadence.

Chateau Bavolier sits in 6 acres of grounds which are yours to explore. In this area is a swing set/ slide for the children.

We are located on the out skirts of a small village which has all amenities including a small supermarket. Just 3 minutes’ drive we arrive at the Lac de Moulin Blanc. This is a great man made lake with sandy beaches where you can enjoy swimming, horse riding, bike riding, waterboarding and much more. A family run restaurant is located here with outside terraces with views over the lake. Many fun and relaxing days can be had here.

Blaye our nearest town is just 10 mins drive full of historical interest. St. Emilion, Medoc and Bordeaux all are approximately 35 mins drive. We are just perfectly placed for everything you would want to do and see.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Jemma (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
