Description

Between mountain and sea, situated in the heart of Saint Chinian, Fou Chantant is an apartment of character ( wood and stone).You are overlooking the market place (thursday and sunday)

From the roof terrace above, you can enjoy while you are eating or relaxing on the deck chair, the fantastic view of the montain and the wind mill of Saint Chinian

Walking distance from the shops, restaurants ( 6), the swimming river, windmill, médiathèque, touching the building of the "maison des vins"( wine degustations of the famous AOC Saint Chinian wine)

Half an hour driving from the sea, canoeing in the rapids or swiming in the rivers

One hour driving from the amaising fortified city of Carcassonne ( medival shows during the summer)

You can walk in the garrigue to discover the capitelles, the production of olive oil, the goat cheese production, visit the numerous wine domaines and taste their wine

2 ensuite bedrooms with double beds, one of the bedrooms has as well as the double bed 2 bunkbeds (175x90), ( sleep 2 little children or on big one)

Pets are welcome and secure in the knowledge that I am a veterinary surgeon, and my practice is on the first floor of the building.

Free parking in the quiet street of the apartement

Response from the owner Sur le site de réservation, si l’on lit bien, le descriptif précise : Appartement au second étage, « situé en plein cœur de Saint Chinian », « donnant sur la place du marché », «marchés (jeudi et dimanche) ». En ayant loué en période estivale, et particulièrement au mois d’Aout, il est clair que Saint Chinian est plus animé qu’en Juin ou Septembre. Toutefois, il ne vous a pas échappé que la seconde chambre ne donne pas sur la place du village, et permet donc de s’isoler de possibles nuisances sonores. L’escalier en colimaçon pour accéder à la « terrasse sur le toit » est visible sur l’une des photos. Donc : Partiellement Vrai…cependant : indiqués dans le descriptif. Pour la terrasse, désolée de n’avoir pu enlever la poutre maitresse du bâtiment, quant aux abeilles, vous auriez dû nous le signaler dès votre arrivée, nous aurions peut être pu y remédier. D’autant qu’elles ont mystérieusement disparues avec les locataires suivants qui ont pris tous leurs petit déjeuners et diners sur la terrasse et en étaient ravis. En ce qui concerne la vaisselle, 4 personnes nettoient l’appartement pendant 2 heures entre chaque locataire…. Bien sûr l’erreur est humaine, un oubli sur un élément est toujours possible, si c’est le cas je m’en excuse….Mais toute la vaisselle ça frise la mauvaise foi ! Donc : Faux En tous les cas, je suis désolée que ces désagréments ne vous aient pas permis de profiter pleinement de votre séjour. Frédérique

“Lots of space !”

Right in the center of St. Chinian. A large, open flat. Good beds and clean bathrooms. Large range cooker in a spacious kitchen area. Need a bit more equipment. A good view from all of the windows. The roof terrasse have a stunning 360 degrees view ! You can watch the beautiful sunset. The access is a bit tricky. Recommended !
