Description

La Vieille Grange is a delightful converted barn that has 4 bedrooms, a bathroom, 2 shower rooms, fully equipped kitchen and raised dining area and lovely lounge with a wood burning stove. It has its own terrace overlooking the valley to St Cernin de Labarde that comes with gas barbeque. It shares the large pool and extensive grounds with its sister property Le Pigeonnier. It is situated just 5 km from the beautiful medieval village of Issigeac, right in the middle of the wine producing area of Bergerac in the Dordogne. The area is steeped in history, has wonderful countryside with exquisite ancient villages nestling in wooded hillsides and valleys. It provides easy access to the world heritage site of St Emilion and the sophistication of Bordeaux. Easily accessible by air, train or car it provides an ideal base for exploring this beautiful part of the world

Although we are ideally situated close to Bergerac airport and train station we do recommend that you have access to a car to make the most of your holiday.

Interaction with guest

As on-site owners we pride ourselves on being available to our guests when they need us but we also like to leave our guests alone to get on with enjoying their holiday. We like to welcome guests and show them around and we're always around to offer friendly tips and advise on where to go and what to see should they need it.
