Description
Our fully self contained non smoking cottage is situated next to our house on on our one acre property at Pyramid Estate Gordonvale, just 30 minutes from Cairns. The cottage is very comfortable and has all cooking facilities/equipment and all linen and even free WIFI. In fact everything that you will need to have a relaxed and enjoyable stay. Each day I supply guests with a breakfast hamper, which includes fresh eggs from our chickens, homemade bread, local jams, juice from our oranges/mandarins, cereals and yogurts. We have a washing machine, BBQ and outdoor swimming pool for guests exclusive use and these facilities are all included in the tariff. We have a fruit orchard with local and exotic trees and from May to October we plant an extensive vegetable garden. I really enjoy showing guests our little piece of paradise and as I am a born and bred local, I am happy to give advise on the best drives and local tourist attractions. Our property is only 5 minutes drive to our local town of Gordonvale, which has a supermarket, specialty shops and pubs for great bistro meals. The bus stop is only 5 minutes walk from our property.

“Serene place to stay”
Clean, comfortable and quiet. Just what country folk like. Easy to find, nice king size bed. Soft towels, lovely hand made soap.

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.
Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Julie (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
