“Great villa, very well equipped”
We stayed at this village between 10 October and 24 October. The villa itself is lovely, very homely and has absolutely everything you need to self cater - including two very friendly homeless cats (who don't come inside the house). The nearest taverna is literally a stone's throw away but unfortunately, presumably because it only had outside seating, it had closed for the winter. However, the new taverna in the centre of the village was great, very friendly owners and excellent, very inexpensive food. We enjoyed an incredibly relaxing stay in Spilia and it's well placed for some beautiful beaches. If you like walking I would recommend getting a proper guide and map - we didn't and I wish we'd got organised to do this as the scenery is lovely. Spillia is ideal for a laid-back holiday, with no nightlife, just peace and quiet and great views, with plenty of places to visit. Highly recommended.
