Description
Bay View is located in Millendreath which is a approximately 2 miles from the lovely fishing village of Looe. Millendreath is the ideal location to stay and explore Cornwall. Millendreath is located 30 minutes from Plymouth and is just a few miles from other popular resorts such as Polperro, Fowey, & Mevagissey. The Eden Project and The Lost Gardens of Helligan are close by and there are some wonderful coastal walks directly from the property.
The accommodation consists of a large living area with an newly installed open plan kitchen, fully equipped with electric fan oven, hob, fridge with ice box, kettle, toaster and microwave. Flat screen TV/DVD with a selection of DVD’s, iPod/iPhone docking station, radio and Internet connection. Be
The accommodation has two bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with two single beds (which can easily be pushed together). Both rooms have hanging space and drawers for storage. The front (main) bedroom has the most amazing views of the bay and sea which means you can lie in bed and enjoy the view.
The accommodation is fully equipped with toilet rolls, washing up liquid and various cleaning agents. Hot water is available via a hot water tank which is paid for via the electric meter. Depending on your length of stay a £5 or £10 electricity card will be provided or credit added prior to your stay. Further electricity cards can be purchased 24/7 on site (coins are required as purchases are made via a machine).
Linen (duvet covers, pillow cases and sheets) can be provided on request (charge of £10 per bed). Towels can be provided upon request but are only for use within the villa. If you choose to take your own linen you will also need to provide your own towels.
Tea towels are inclusive in the price.
There is a travel cot if required.
There is a large terrace which overlooks the bay. It has patio furniture to seat four, two sun loungers and a BBQ. No balls games are allowed on the terrace.
The villa is available for hire from Saturday to Saturday although shorter breaks (minimum of 4 nights) can also be booked, please contact owner for further information. Please note that during peak holiday time bookings will only be taken for a minimum of 7 days. Check in time from 2pm and departure time being no later than 10.30am.
PARKING: There is an unloading bay by the steps to the villa and then you are requested to park your car in the main car park. From 1st December 2021 there will be a £20 charge to park the car for a weeks stay or you can pay daily on site at £8 per day. PLEASE NOTE THIS IS STILL BEING DISCUSSED AND HOPING TO COME TO A BETTER SOLUTION FOR PARKING FEES.
You can park the car for 30 minutes to unload and then move the car to the main car park for the rest of your stay.
Please note the villa does not allow pets or smoking inside the property.
There is a beach restaurant/cafe with a small shop alongside (mainly selling beach goods). Opening times are a little unpredictable but it is fully open during main peak holiday dates.
A bottle bar on the beach will be open in the summer months.
A car is a must for exploring the area and getting about, the closest small supermarket is situated at The Barbican which is about a 5 minute drive or Looe which is a 10 minute drive.
Please be aware that there are 46 steps leading up to the property so it would not be suitable to those with mobility issues.

“Beautiful Views and have rebooked!”
We stayed at Bayview with our two children during the summer holidays and just had the best holiday. Tracey was quick and keen to resolve any questions I had. The accommodation was clean and very well equip, it was home from home. The most impressive views and amazing location we've rebooked for next year.
