Description
This cottage is set in a quiet rural location with easy access to many beautiful towns including Cognac, Pons, Saintes, Talmont etc. It is about 30 mins to the coastal resorts of St Georges de Didonne , Meschers and Royan. Take a day trip to the Isles de Re and Oleron and visit the fabulous beaches or visit the beaches and Zoo at La Palmyre.
The cottage has been totally renovated to a very high standard and has all modern requirements while still retaining all the character of a French country cottage. It has a wonderful stone fireplace , arched doorways and a very spacious lounge/dining room. The kitchen is a fully equipped with a very large fridge freezer. The kitchen french doors lead out to the pool area which has sunbeds and a BBQ/ eating area. A perfect place to relax and unwind

This is a 2 bedroomed cottage which sleeps four people. One double bedroom and a second bedroom with 2 single beds. The lounge is very spacious and comfortably furnished. There is a separate dining area as well as a kitchen table for eating. The access to the private swimming pool is directly from the kitchen to the poolside terrace. The kitchen is modern, very well eqiuipped and has an extra large fridge freezer with ice maker and drinks dispenser. A small utility room houses a dishwasher, washing machine.There is a separate dining area as well as a kitchen table for eating. The lounge has wraparound lounge seating with wide-screen TV with Freeview and a DVD player

Step out from the kitchen directly on to the poolside terrace. There is a BBQ , sun loungers and patio furniture. This is a perfect place to relax and enjoy a dip in the pool followed by a a BBQ lunch.
From the lounge you can sit on the small balcony overlooking the vineyards. There is a parking area to the right of the property.

“A superb sunny stay!”
My wife, five year old, 9 week old baby and I had a fantastic stay at Angela's cottage. Everything was great, and the pool especially made our sunny week's stay just perfect!

“Idyllic cottage set in peaceful location”
Good location to explore the Charente-Maritime region. After days out it was a pleasure to come back to the cottage to use the excellent sized pool. The cottage had all the amenities required for a very relaxing holiday including a very large fridge which can be stocked from a large supermarket located around 10 minutes away in Pons. Ample off street parking is also provided. All enquiries with Angela were answered promptly. We would definitely recommend this cottage to anyone looking to holiday in this area.

“Fabulous Gite in a beautiful, peaceful location”
We have just returned from a fabulous fortnight in this well equipped and comfortable Gite. The Gite is located in a quiet hamlet but not far from the local small towns. Not far are the larger towns of Pons and Cognac, the nearest beach is Royan about 30 minutes away but a little further are amazing beaches on the Atlantic Coast. The pool and terrace are that good though you might not want to stray too far. We spent many a relaxing day by the pool. Angela is an excellent owner who responds very quickly to any enquiries.
