Description

Buddy's Retreat is a dog-lovers' cabin on beautiful Coe Island Lake about 20 minutes from Bancroft, ON and just over an hour from Algonquin Park. It is available for a minimum stay of 3 nights at $240+ HSTper night with a $50 heating surcharge in the spring and fall . The weekly rate is $1440+ HST. This cabin is newly built and finely appointed. Plush towels and bedding are provided. It is wheelchair accessible. Excellent well water, screened porch, ramp, gated wrap-around verandah for your dog/s safety, propane BBQ, wood-stove, ceiling fans, moveable kitchen island and lots of movies are available to borrow for a rainy day or a cozy evening. There is great swimming in crystal clear water and a canoe, kayak and rowboat are available. Your 'Northern Getaway' awaits you! Listen to the loons while sipping your morning coffee or watch the sunrise down on the dock or snowshoe across the frozen waters over to the islands in winter or just enjoy the night sky at the small campfire pit on the rock. Buddy's Retreat is close to all amenities, art galleries, theatre, spa, museums, restaurants, tea house, local shops, parks, etc. Hope to welcome YOU soon to Buddy's Retreat.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I make changes to my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your booking page. To change your dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Cathy (the owner) a message.

If Cathy (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
