Queen Villa is a newly built residence situate on a hillside in the area of Elounda. The villa features six bedrooms within the house and two independently accessible guest rooms, all en suite.
This stunning contemporary residence offers panoramic views of magnificent sunrises and sunsets against backdrops of the Mediterranean sea and the Cretan landscape. The architecture, sophisticated furnishings and beauty of the surroundings combine to make this villa unique.
The house features impressive living areas that include a large open plan living room with high ceilings and a fireplace. There is also a study and a dining area opening through French doors to an area shaded by an arched colonnade, with views to the infinity edge pool and surrounding gardens.
A well equipped kitchen opens onto an outdoor, pergola shaded poolside dining area and wide patios, making an ideal space for alfresco living, dining and relaxing.
The accommodation within the house comprises a master suite, two separate (independently accessed) guest rooms and five additional bedrooms. All the bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms, walk-in closets, and stunning views to the Mediterranean and the Cretan mountains. Some rooms also have special additional features, such as hardwood floors, private terraces, or direct access to the swimming pool.
Architectural features include exposed stone walls, beautiful natural hardwood, marble and stone floors, framed views, exterior hideaways and kiosks blended into the surroundings.
The villa is fully fitted out with stylishly furnishings. Bespoke beds, sofas, tables, pool side loungers etc, have been created specifically for the house and are complemented by carefully selected designer pieces.
The land of 13,900 square meters, or 1.4 hectares, has been professionally landscaped with terraced gardens featuring olive trees, colorful flowers, and aromatic herbs including thyme, rosemary, coriander, anise, mint, lavender etc... Stone foot paths take you through the gardens, with great respect to the land and nature.
A garden pavilion takes advantage of the wonderful views. Broad terraces with built-in seating areas surround the pool and house, offer magical views.
There is also a dining area and pergola covered seating areas.The stunning infinity-edge pool creates the impression that the water in the pool extends to the Mediterranean.
The property benefits from a very convenient setting on a quiet hill side with a few villas, yet is only three km from the town of Elounda and seven km from the town of Agios Nikolaos, with their traditional tavernas, gourmet restaurants, shops, night life and golf course.
