Description
Located in the tranquil village of Agios Ioannis, 70 km south of the city of Heraklion and 8 km south of Kapetaniana village Situated under the glorious mountain range of Kofina. The house is built right by the sea( 10m). It is ideal for family vacation.The shingle beach that lies a few meters away from the house offers clear and crystal waters. The surrounding area is ideal for hiking, mountain climbing, cave exploring, diving and fishing. The house is an excellent starting point to explore the nearby monasteries, the Minoan harbour and the "unknown beauty" of authentic Crete. The famous beach of Matala lies 50 km west of Agios Ioannis village. A mini market is located 200 meters away from the house, while Kapetaniana village is located 8 km north providing mini markets and taverns.
The area is accessible only by car. (There is no public transport). The last 8km to Ai-Giannis is dirt road but you can easily drive there with your car. You can check the road on the property photos

If you looking for a place to relax with nature this place is perfect. Small village with very friendly people, very helpful owner. Just mountain and sea very peaceful place you can relax and forget about loud city.
