Description

Villa Poseidon is a Villa, built with care, based on a secluded location in Leukogia village at the south coast of Rethymno. Villa Poseidon is a unique destination for the unforgettable holiday you are dreaming about! It’s magnificent country side and sea views, it’s amazing outside area and swimming pool, as well as its comfortable rooms are some of the chacarecteristics that make Villa Poseidon stand out!

Also, the Villa is within a short drive from some of the most famous beaches of Crete such as the endless, sandy beach of Plakias, which is only 3 km away from the villa, Preveli lagoon beach, Agios Pavlos sand dune beach and Triopetra. Additionally, it’s within walking distance to a regional grill taverna and a super market and just 3 Km away from the lively village of Plakias where our guests can also find a variety of cafes, restaurants and other amenities, such as pharmacy, bakery, ATM machine, post office, as well as beach bars.

Layout

Villa Poseidon covers 110 m2 and it’s divided in two levels. The Villa can accommodate up to 6 guests in its 3 bedrooms and it’s a perfect choice for families, as well as groups of friends.

Ground floor

A large, beautiful open space, modernly and discreetly decorated, welcome you as you enter the Villa. There guests can find the cosy living room featuring an enormous sofa corner sofa for the whole family, where you can relax and have fun watching your favourite movie. Besides the siting area, there’s a chic, white dining table for six people , right next to fully equipped kitchen, ideal to prepare your homemade meals! The whole Villa is highlighted by the stone walls, the carefully chosen decorative elements and the wooden ceilings, which create a beautiful ambience. We shouldn’t forget to mention that glass doors from the living room, dining area and the kitchen lead to a large, perimetrical veranda, as well as to the pool terrace and BBQ facilities, giving you easy access in and out of the Villa. A shared, family bathroom with shower cabin is also available on this level.

First floor

All three of Villa Poseidon’s bedrooms are located on the first floor, two of which boasts a double bed, while the last one features two single beds. All bedrooms are air conditioned and have a wardrobe. One of the double bedrooms has its own small veranda at the rear part of the Villa, equipped with patio furniture. Furthermore, a shared bathroom with a bathtub can also be found on the first floor. Finally, after climbing a free steps, guests can access a large shaded veranda, also equipped with patio furniture, which also enjoys stunning views of the nearby hills, fields and the Lybian sea and overlooks the pool area.

Outdoor Area

Moving outdoors, one cannot but admire the wonderful area, where the private swimming pool catches your eye at once. The pool is 35 m2 and 1.40 m deep and also provides a special compartment for kids of 4 m2 and 0.50 m deep. Just imagine the hours of relaxation and fun you could have with your loved ones, by the pool, enjoying the summer breeze, hot sun, fresh air and clear blue sky. To make things even better, the pool terrace allows you to witness its superb sunset views, resting at the shaded veranda with sitting and dining areas with direct from the kitchen and living room area. Additionally, stone built BBQ facilities and an outdoor sink will help you prepare your meals al fresco and experience a new way of dining! Finally, large lawn covered areas and a separate shaded pergola with sun beds are also available, ensuring your outmost comfort.

The location of this villa simply can't be beaten. Dozens of glorious beaches and restaurants within 10 mins drive. The only problem was that 6 days wasn't nearly enough to explore the area.… More
