A stone-built, semi-detached cottage 1.8 miles from Holloway, in the Peak District, and sleeping four people in two bedrooms.Ingle-Nook Retreat is a semi-detached, stone-built cottage, 1.8 miles from Holloway, in the Peak District. It sleeps four people in two bedrooms, a king-size double and a twin, and there is also a shower room. Downstairs there is a modern open plan living area with a kitchen, a dining area and a sitting area with a woodburning stove. Outside there is a gravelled courtyard with furniture and lockable bike storage. Just 10 minutes away there is a local pub, whilst a whole host of Peak District villages are all within driving distance, such as Whatstandwell and Crich, as well as the town of Matlock. With all this and more just waiting to be explored, Ingle-Nook Retreat is a perfect base all year round.
Amenities: Gas central heating with woodburning stove. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, washing machine, Smart TV with Freeview, DVD, WiFi. Fuel, power and starter pack for stove inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Travel cot and highchair on request. Off road parking for 2 cars. Lockable bike storage. Gravelled courtyard with furniture. One well-behaved pet welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop 1.5 miles, pub and restaurant 10 mins walk. Note: The stair to the first floor is steep and narrow.
Region: The ultimate in "year-round" appeal, the Peak District offers countryside, picturesque villages and magnificent scenery. It touches upon six counties and encloses 555 square miles of open moorland, flowing rivers, and wooded dales.
Town: The ancient village of Holloway lies just 3 miles from the Spa town of Matlock Bath and the Mill town of Cromford, on the edge of the Peak District National Park. Holloway, once home to Florence Nightingale, has a village shop, pub, butchers and an art gallery, and offers numerous walks and cycle routes including the High Peak Trail, Derwent Valley Heritage Way and Midshires Way.
