Description
The property La Carrère is a renovated, independent and private farmhouse, split into two units: the main house and an attached, but totally independent gîte. The property is 100m from the centre from the village of Monlong. The property is well-maintained both internally and externally.
Externally the property has approx. 1.2 hectares (3 acres) of land, laid out as vegetable plot, fruit trees and open field. An adjacent barn is used as storage. A hard standing area provides a base for a small portable swimming pool.
The property is available to rent, throughout the year, either as the gîte, the farmhouse or both areas.
Nearest Town: Lannemezan
Airports: Toulouse – transfer time 1 hr 10 minutes
Tarbes-Lourdes – transfer time 40 minutes
Skiing: Access to Pyrenees skiing - 60-90 minutes

Bedroom 4: Office/occasional bedroom – futon.
Lounge 1: Large room, with wood burner, large sofa for 6, 4K TV, UK and France satellite channels, Blue Ray video player, Apple TV and hi-fi. Courtyard aspect. Lockable access into the gîte.
Bathroom 2: Bath, integral shower, toilet.
Ground floor:
Bedroom 5: Accessible, large twin-bedded room, ample space for cot and/or single bed
Lounge 2: Two-seater sofa and chairs, wood burner, library, courtyard aspect.
Bathroom 3: Large shower, toilet and wash-room.
Kitchen/Diner: Large kitchen with two large dining tables (accommodating 12), gas cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher. Open aspect onto courtyard and secluded patio.
Utility room: Storage, cleaning equipment, washing machine.

“Relaxing”
Spacious enclosed grounds for the children to explore. Farmhouse has every conceivable facility with plenty of space to spread out. Brilliant covered outdoor dining area.

“Sublime”
Stayed here for 3 nights last December. The house is amazing and is conveniently located. Would love to go back there soon. Only 90mins drive to the mountains for some skiing.
