A spectacular and luxuriously finished cottage, close to Sallerna Beach and within walking distance of Cleggan village. 4 Bedrooms – sleeps 8-10. Offering wonderful views of the surrounding countryside along with coastal views of the nearby Atlantic Ocean, and Cleggan Bay. This is an ideal property for families and groups of friends. Enjoy a luxurious rural retreat while still being located a short distance from nearby amenities, attractions, towns and villages. Explore Connemara during the day, and relax or entertain at the house in the evenings. It is worth exploring the immediate area to experience the panoramic views of the surrounding countryside and breath-taking seascapes. Take a day trip to Inishbofin by ferry from the nearby Cleggan harbour or enjoy a day sea fishing. Explore the off shore islands, or take a pony trek along the coast towards Omey Strand and Omey Island. The nearest shop, restaurant and bar are 1km away in Cleggan village. Clifden town can be reached within 10 minutes' drive, and Connemara National park is about 15 minute drive. Local activities include fishing, pony trekking, walking, cycling and much more.

Ground Floor Accommodation: Upon entering the property, a spacious entrance hall offers access to all ground floor rooms. The living room is well presented with timber floors, leather reclining suite, marble fireplace, inset stove, and offers views of the surrounding countryside. The large modern oak kitchen and dining room is very well equipped with all necessary equipment and modern conveniences including integrated dishwasher, fridge freezer with ice maker and filtered water, microwave, electric hob, double electric oven and solid fuel range cooker. Coastal views can be seen from the kitchen. The adjoining utility room includes a washing machine and dryer. A second lounge with comfortable couches and offering sea views is located beside the dining room, a perfect spot for a relaxing read. A large double bedroom with sliding mirrored wardrobes and en-suite shower, and a bathroom with large enclosed shower cubicle complete the ground floor accommodation.
Upstairs Accommodation: The upper floor of the property has a further 3 bedrooms, a reading area, and the main bathroom. The bedrooms consist of a twin bedroom with two single beds, a large double bedroom, and a family room. The family room has a king size bed and a double bed, mirrored wardrobes and an en-suite bathroom with shower, sink and WC. The main bathroom is well presented with bath, electric shower, heated towel rail, basin and WC. Views of Cleggan Bay, Sallerna Beach, Aughrus Peninsula and the surrounding countryside can be seen from various rooms in the property.
The property is centrally heated throughout, and also has a solid fuel/wood burning stove in the living room and a solid fuel range in the kitchen. A shed is available to guests for storage of bikes, kayaks, canoes etc. The property offers large lawned gardens and ample parking space for up to 5 cars. BBQ available for guests use. Towels and linens are included.Heating and electricity included. Wi-fi is included. Cot & High chair available. No pets. No smoking indoors.
