The cottage can sleep three people in a family room with one double and one single as well as a separate bathroom. The cottage also contains an open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area. To the outside of the property is off road parking for one car and a shared lawned garden with furniture and a front balcony with furniture. Located in a great area, Slate Cottage is a lovely property, suitable for a great property at any time of the year.
Amenities: Oil-fired central heating. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, TV with Freeview, DVD, WiFi, selection of books, games and DVDs. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Travel cot and highchair. Off road parking for 1 car. Shared lawned garden with furniture and front balcony with furniture. Two well-behaved pets welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop and pub 1.7 miles. Note: Balcony accessed from bedroom and the staircase is open, children to be supervised at all times

This ancient location is home to mystical standing stones, old buildings dating from medieval times and thousands of years worth of tin mining heritage. There are plenty of beautiful walks to discover, with challenging climbs up some of the tallest spots in Cornwall, offering fantastic far-reaching views towards both the north and south coast on fine days.

Response from the manager Thank you for providing feedback following your stay at our property Slate Cottage. It is a shame to hear that the property did not meet your standards. As cottage owners we pride ourselves in the cleanliness of the property and want to continue to provide the best holiday experience. Upon you reporting the issues we offered to send a cleaner back to the property but this was declined by yourself. We also offered to complete another changeover clean after the first week of your holiday. We then offered you £50 which you accepted and you seemed to appreciate this and we believed this to be a satisfactory resolution. When instances like this occur we believe we followed the correct process. As you can see from our previous feedback guests are normally happy with the standards of the property. Your comments will be taken on board which will help us to continue to provide the best property standards. Thank you.
