Description

We spent over $800 to have a blue ultra violight system added to our A/C so it is safely and continually circulating and cleaning air of germs, mold, mildew and virus.

My cleaning staff are using Lysol and bleach products on all surfaces plus sanitizing spray on arms of furniture. My sheets and quilts are being changed each time a new customer comes in.

New Smyrna Beach is located on the Atlantic side of Florida and I am happy to advise our beach and Inter-Coastal waterways are crystal clear and clean for your enjoyment. We do not have any red tide or algae that is currently occurring on the Gulf side of our state.

This Two Bedroom Two Bath ocean view condo is located on the top third floor at Point East Condominiums. The decor is a Tommy Bahama theme with very contemporary warm rich woods, lots of wicker and relaxing tans and blues on the walls. The living room has a 42" Flat Screen HD LCD Cable TV plus Flat Screen cable TV's in both bedrooms for our guests enjoyment. This condo can sleep up to six guests with a king size pillow top bed in the master suite and two FULL SIZE beds in the guest bedroom, plus a queen sleeper sofa, two recliners in the living room. This property has a spectacular ocean view from the south facing sunny balcony and both bedrooms, and overlooks the Olympic pool and courtyard. The balcony has a small table and six chairs plus a comfortable lounge chair. Please note the condo has no washer/dryer inside, but we have coin operated laundry rooms on each floor for your convenience.

I need to disclose that Pointeast is in process of exterior renovation. They are working on west building and will be there until September 2017. They work from 8 to 5 weekdays, but not on weekends. #304 is far away and you should not be disturbed. My normal weekly rate is $1,150, so I'm offering a $200 discount for inconvenience. All amenities are open for guests use including pool, shuffleboard, covered pavilion. We also have an ocean front park next door with a lifeguard on duty. The park offers covered picnic tables, charcoal grills, restrooms, showers, basketball and handball courts, and playground.

Getting around

A rental car is recommended. We have local bus service around town, but it won't take you very far if you want to see other Central Florida attractions. We have two down towns, one on beachside (Flagler Ave.) and one on mainland (Canal St.). Both have restaurants, nightlife, art galleries, antique shops and general shopping.

Interaction with guest

My husband and I personally own and manage this vacation rental. We live just 20 minutes away and will take care of any needs during your stay. I have a great guest book waiting for you on the dining room table with lots of information about information about our barrier island paradise, including shopping tips, restaurant reviews, and activities in and around New Smyrna The resort has an on-site manager, Arnie and his assistant, Lynn. They can answer any questions about the resort amenities.

Response from the owner Glad you had a nice visit. I try to have everything on site to immediately acclimate my guests into "vacation mode". My guest book is on the dining room table for immediate use and I can make recommendations about anything they are planning to do. I've lived here long enough to be able to answer their questions. The construction hasn't been too much of an inconvenience and I have lowered my rates to bargain discounts to make up for it. I can't wait until the project is complete.

Response from the owner These guests were fun and hope they return. People from the mountains go to the beach and the people from the beach go to the mountains. We will be going to North Georgia for a week after Labor Day for golf and boating. We rented a nice condo right on Lake Chatuge and can't wait to get away. It's been a good summer and the construction has not stopped guests from taking advantage of my discounted rent during this project. Still time to book a great vacation. Weather is perfect. HURRY!

Response from the owner Thanks for your kind words. Families are my specialty and I know they can't afford to go out to eat every day so I make sure my kitchen has everything for meal planning. July is a busy month expecially the 4th of July celebration so the resort was full. Normally there is plenty of lounge chairs around the pool. Hurry back and look forward to your return visit.

Response from the owner It's fun to see the joy on faces on children that show up at my condo for a beach vacation. Some have never seen the ocean before and they are so excited. They immediately want their bathing suits. I show them the front closet filled with beach toys, chairs and beach umbrella. Beach and sand are perfect combination for kids. They swim in front of the lifeguard next door and mom feels relieved to know extra eyes are keeping track of them. So the whole family gets to enjoy their vacation.

Response from the owner I enjoy new visitor's to our area. I provide plenty of information in my guest book so they can quickly get familiar with our beautiful island and surrounding areas. We have favorite tourist areas at Flagler Avenue and Canal Street that are a big draw. But my properties are in less crowded and busy sections with an adequate number of restaurants and shopping within a two block distance, but not too busy. It's perffect for a layback vacation with no cars on the beach and slow easy pace.

Response from the owner I disclosed that construction was on the exterior of the building on the east side of resort. Guest was on the west side of the resort so they would not be disturbed if their doors and windows were closed during the day. The workers quit at 5:00 in time for a nice happy hour on the balcony for the evening. They paid $100/night plus tax and I waived $85 cleaning fee. They never contacted me about WI-FI problem. I would have immediately called Brighthouse to fix it, but didn't know. Sorry!
