Newly renovated Mid-Century Modern Palm Springs vacation home. Built by Alexander Construction Company in 1956, this home maintains its classic feel with modern updates throughout. Conveniently located in the iconic Movie Colony East neighborhood, this home is close to the dining, shopping and nightlife of downtown Palm Springs while still being tucked away to allow for peaceful evenings and quiet mornings.

The private master suite has a California King bed, with a 32” flat screen T.V. There is also an adjacent sitting room with fold out couch; with linens; perfect for drop-in guests. The master en suite bathroom boasts a large walk in shower, dual vanity sinks, and access to the salt water pool/spa.

The other two bedrooms have queen beds. All three bedrooms have luxury linens; including cozy down comforters; generous closets, fans, and alarm clocks. Along with all of these amenities, each room also has sliders with access to the private pool and spa and picturesque views of the beautiful San Jacinto mountains.

The second bathroom is located between the two queen bedrooms, and includes a shower and a relaxing jetted tub.

In the kitchen you will find everything you need to prepare a gourmet meal or mix up a cool cocktail. All of the stainless steel GE Profile appliances are new and include, fridge with filtered water and ice, 4 burner gas range, microwave, and dishwasher. There is even a 30 bottle wine fridge to keep all of your reds and whites at the perfect temperature.

The comfortable living area is open to the kitchen and dining area. Relax on the sofa and enjoy your favorite show on the 50” flat screen television. There is also a blu-ray player and several DVD’s, including several 50’s classics. Patio doors from the living room open to an expansive patio. Outside entertaining and alfresco dining are easy with a stainless steel gas grill and seating for six. After dinner enjoy the cool desert evening relaxing next to the two in-ground gas fire pits in our quiet and peaceful neighborhood.

The private and fully fenced backyard, features a heated salt water swimming pool and huge jetted spa. Escape the afternoon heat and relax under the umbrella in the pools tanning deck. With shade from the palm trees, this is the perfect place to enjoy a good book or kick back with a cocktail.

All furnishings throughout the home were carefully chosen to be comfortable and practical yet reminiscent of the time.

Other modern amenities include washer and dryer, cable television, and WiFi throughout.

This is also a green 'Eco-friendly' house which features solar and LED lighting throughout. As well as many other environmentally friendly additions.
