Description
This unique picturesque and tranquil medieval village is situated amphitheatrically on a hill majestically overlooking over the entire island and the stunning caldera. The narrow winding streets coupled with traditional architecture make it an ideal place for exploration where as wonderful cafes and restaurants are available to suit all tastes.The venetian castle is the highlight of Pyrgos and is nestled at the top of the village.
Filotimo cave houses is nestled in a semi circle courtyard. Privatelly ,on their own are the four self contained apartments: Lava,Cloud,Sky and Coral.
These four apartments are ideal for a group of friends ,families vacationing together but also having their independence.The unique courtyard is a superb place to join the houses together in a private surrounding.
THESE FOUR HOUSES ARE RENTED ALSO INDIVIDUALLY!
Filotimo cave houses is good for couples ,solo adventurers,business travellers,families with kids and big groups.
All cave houses are done in the traditional style of the island,domed ceiling,simple white sofas ,arm chairs,(typical of Cyclades) and light open spaces,perfect to have a memorable and relaxing vacation.

4 fully equipped kitchens.
Living rooms and a big private yard with wooden tables, chairs
and sun umbrellas.

All amenities that maybe required during a holiday are located in Pyrgos main square, 5 minutes walking distance from Filotimo cave Houses. Including: ATM,mini market,bakery ,restaurants ,cafes ,bus station,tourist information office and taxi ranks.

Fira ,the capital of the island, is 7,5 km. away and can be reached by regular buses or alternatively by taxi.
