Posizione: Porzione di villa bifamiliare con panoramica vista su ampio golfo fino al faro di Punta Secca, posta su altura in contesto di campagna ad un km circa dal mare, con giardino privato recintato. Colture prevalenti: olivi, eucalipti, piante grasse e un vecchio carrubo.
Natura: L'abitazione è situata fuori dal centro abitato in una zona tranquilla. Al mattino potrete svegliarvi al cinguettio degli uccelli. Gli amanti dell'ornitologia potranno osservare da vicino gazze, upupe, tortore, poiane, colombacci e molti altri volatili.
Descrizione struttura: L'abitazione, su un piano unico rialzato, dispone di 2 camere da letto matrimoniali, di una cameretta con letto a castello e di due bagni con doccia interamente ristrutturati nel 2020. Da una delle camere da letto si accede ad una fresca veranda ombreggiata da un carrubo secolare.
La cucina-soggiorno, con ampia vetrata a bovindo, vista mare e accesso al giardino, è ben attrezzata e dispone di un comodo tavolo a 6 posti, frigorifero, piano cottura a gas, tostapane e stoviglie. Il living comunicante, con accesso al solarium, costituisce il luogo ideale per leggere, rilassarsi e soprattutto ammirare i memorabili tramonti sul mare fino al faro di Punta Secca. Dal living si accede ad un'ampia terrazza frontemare di oltre 20 mq, attrezzata con sdraio.
La dépendence: Accessibile dal giardino e dal parcheggio si trova una dépendence composta da un bagno con doccia, dalla lavanderia con lavatrice, frigo-congelatore, da un'ampia cucina esterna con veranda lastricata a pietra, dotata di un grande tavolo da pranzo e delimitata da un caratteristico muro a secco. Sul retro il parcheggio auto.
Dotazioni gratuite: Stoviglie, lenzuola, asciugamani, prodotti per la pulizia, sono forniti gratuitamente dall'host. A disposizione degli ospiti un router portatile per un collegamento con scheda SIM privata.

Mare: A circa 1000 m di distanza si trovano la spiaggia di Cava d'Aliga, un supermercato, ristoranti, stabilimenti balneari, farmacia, guardia medica. A soli 6 km la meravigliosa spiaggia di Sampieri, con la sue dune di sabbia dorata e, a meno di mezz'ora, la nota località Marina di Ragusa per gli amanti dello shopping e la movida.
I luoghi di Montalbano/escursioni: La posizione della villa Il Carrubo è ideale per visitare i luoghi del Commissario Montalbano (Scicli, Modica, Ragusa Ibla, Punta Secca) e raggiungere comodamente altre località del Ragusano, Donnalucata, il sito archeologico di Kamarina, il castello di Donnafugata e nel Siracusano, la riserva naturale di Vendicari, osservatorio ornitologico tra i più famosi d'Italia, Noto considerata la capitale del barocco siciliano, Siracusa con le sue imponenti vestigia greche. In meno di un'ora sono raggiungibili altre spiagge meno note come San Lorenzo, straordinaria spiaggia bianca dal mare turchese, l'Isola delle Correnti (in cui s'incontrano le acque del Mar Ionio e del Mar Mediterraneo), la meravigliosa località di Marzamemi con la tonnara più antica dell'isola, Eloro con la spiaggia nudista di Marianelli.
