Description

Cuil Lodge is the old fishing lodge for Glenmore Estate. Last year we renovated the property, re-insulating the walls and installing a oil based central heating system so it is lovely and warm.

There is a spacious brand new charming kitchen in lovely turquoise with a seating area. There is also a utility room with washing machine and a pulley and space for a dog to sleep.

Downstairs there is a lovely dining room with a woodburning stove. The wifi point is in this room and it is good and quick.

There is also a spacious charming Sitting room with log fire and a television.

Upstairs there are 5 lovely bedrooms. We installed 2 ensuite bathrooms. So there is lots of space for a family/families.

We retained the old features of the house including the lovely old beams, the wooden staircase and banisters but modernised at the same time. So you have the best of both worlds.

It has a spacious, well established garden where you can sit on the outdoor furniture and enjoy the azeleas, hydrageas and colourful blue, white and pink bells.

it is situated 2 minutes walk from the local pub/hotel where you can enjoy a beer/drink or go for a nice pub meal without having to drive. It is also next to the local shop which has a post office and a cafe.

“Refund not given”

Booking was cancelled by host and they have made it impossible to get a refund. Contract states I’m owed a refund. Don’t bother booking through this website.

Response from the owner I'm sorry but don't think this is the case. We always give refunds but we will of course look into this. If it was booked through Trip Advisor they would issue the refund on our behalf. Please let us know that you now have your refund. Best wishes Melissa

“Amazing place!”

Just home from 3 day stay at the Old Fishing lodge, with 6 adults and 5 children it is always a bit of a gamble that there will be enough space. Happily this place delivered. With 4 bathroom in total along with spacious rooms and hall ways we never felt like we were tripping over each other. Considerinf it is an old house it was very cosy and the fires were more of a bonus than a nessecity. The owner was very helpful and the small request we had were met quickly and without fuss. Would happily stay again.
