Spacious and comfortable, this beautiful historic home is an ideal property for your Mount Desert Island vacation with lots of room for extended family and friends too. This newly renovated property offers a spacious interior with ample room to relax and plenty of amenities, including TVs in every bedroom and family room, A/C units in each bedroom, landline phone, Wifi, stereo and DVD player, washer/dryer, microwave, dishwasher, gas grill, many outdoor tables and chairs as well as a picnic table to enjoy the landscapped outdoor spaces, and lovely decorative fireplaces throughout the house. Enjoy your mornings and evenings relaxing on the beautiful front covered porch.
Brightholme is located a just short walk to Bar Harbor's many shops, restaurants, village parks, and the harbor. At the center of town is the Village Green where the Island Explorer offers free transportation into Acadia National Park (with a park pass) and to the other villages on Mount Desert Island. It is a great way to do some sightseeing. Brightholme allows you to enjoy the many activities of Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park, including hiking, biking, rock climbing, boating, whale watching, schooner rides, paddle boarding, kayak and canoe tours, lake swimming, carriage road walks, horse carriage rides, deep sea fishing, and much more!
Linens & towels provided. Pets considered with $100/pet/week fee. $175 per person, per week fee for additional guest over posted allowance in rates. Sat-Sat weekly bookings preferred.
