Description

This house is ideal for large family gatherings or groups of friends to stay together. Just bring your clothes and your toothbrush, everything else is there.

There are five main bedrooms and a fully sprung and comfortable sofa bed in the play room. The house will sleep 14 and two babies or toddlers in cots.

The master bedroom on the ground floor has a walk-in dressing room, and an en-suite bathroom, with separate shower enclosure, loo and basin. There is a king sized bed, with memory foam mattress.

There are two more bedrooms on the ground floor, both with bunk beds and a truckle underneath, so will sleep three children in each room, with room for a cot in each room in addition.

The family bathroom is a lovely, large room, with huge bath with shower mixer tap and walk in shower enclosure. There is a first aid kit in this room, which is locked for safety, and a comfy chair with a little table, so if you have drawn the short straw and you are supervising all the children's bathtime, you can still relax with a cup of tea or glass of wine and some nibbles!

The playroom is a lovely, large room, which doubles as a playroom for the children in the daytime - and has a scrubbed pine table and chairs in the corner, if you want the children to eat earlier. There is a TV, satellite, DVD player, Wii and an Xbox 360. There is a myriad of toys and games suitable for all ages of children, DVD's and games for the Wii and Xbox.

There are three CD players in the house, and lots of CDs of all varieties of music, feel free to move the CD players into which rooms you like!

There is a lovely large sitting room, which is meant for adults and older children, so there is one room that is peaceful!

There is a large linen room, which also contains picnic baskets, swimming towels, beach bags etc., please feel free to borrow anything to take to the beach, but I'd be very grateful if you'd check you bring everything back with you!

There is an enormous kitchen/dining room, which seats 12 - 14, and has two sets of doors out onto the decking. The kitchen is well-equipped for foodies, so if you like to cook, you should find pretty much everything you need. There is a range cooker with gas hob and electric ovens, two dishwashers, large fridge/freezer, microwave, and plenty of glasses, crockery and cutlery. There is also a summer kitchen outside in the pool house, which has melamine plates and glasses (strict rule, absolutely NO glass or crockery by the pool, please)

The house has been carefully designed to be comfortable (but stylish) and very family friendly, with toys. games, books, and garden games and pool toys. There are babies' bottles and sterilising equipment, nappy disposal, changing mats, potties and baby bath, plus everything you might need for toddlers.

The pool is a glorious saline pool, 10 x 5 metres, with roman steps at one end, and lights for night swims. It is fully alarmed, and there is a pool house with a wet room, including a shower, basin and loo.

There's a huge garden for children to play in and explore, with a kitchen garden planted with various vegetables, fruit and herbs, just help yourself to whatever is ripe and have with your lunch or supper.

Everyone who has stayed here has loved it, and had a terrific holiday. Try it yourself!!

There is limited public transport so a car is highly recommended. If you book Le Ramard for a holiday, I will make all the local information available as soon as payment has been made

I live in the UK, so I won't be around to liaise with you, but I do have a wonderful property manager, Estelle Deerenberg, who is Dutch, but lives locally, is fully fluent in English, French, Dutch (of course) and German. She will welcome you to the property, with your welcome basket of goodies (including mineral water, staple groceries and a case of wine to get your holiday started) If you have any problems, you can contact me or Estelle, her contact details will be sent toyou once you have booked and paid for your holiday.
