Step back in time and bring your friends and family to Yeats' Country and enjoy this 350 years old house with all the modern luxuries.
A beautifully restored old town house, Carney House has been in the Barber family for 4 generations.
The recent renovations has brought this wonderful old property up to the 21st century standards.
Spacious rooms throughout, wonderful character and amazing works of art, furniture and ornaments.
The grandfather clock stands proudly in the hall to greet you, where it has stood for many many years.
This gracious home has sumptuous beds, soft 100% wool carpets underfoot and glorious rain showers. This home is wheelchair friendly. Please make a special request to prepare for any wheelchair user in advance.
The open fires in the open plan living room as well as the formal sitting room, create the atmosphere any family would enjoy while sitting around in the evenings to chat, sing or play games.
There is also central heating as well as a large log stove in the dining area. This house is toasty, inviting and elegant.
Bring your family and friends along to Carney, a beautiful village only 2km from the Wild Atlantic Way Road. Enjoy the sea views in the distance from the front rooms.
There is a highly rated authentic Italian restaurant right next door. This restaurant has been making big waves in the food industry and has an excellent menu. No need for taxis or designated drivers here.
There is another pub just 50 yards away called Battys with large TV screen and a beer garden with an open fire in the back.
The local grocery shop stocks all the essentials so you will never be short for anything.
Lissadell House is only a couple of miles away and here yo ucan enjoy the tour of this stately mansion and learn about it's chequered history.
There are many beaches within 5 minutes drive.
Sligo Town is only 10 minutes drive.
Drumcliff Church and Graveyard is only 4 minutes drive.
Benbulben is the stunning backdrop over this whole area.
