It has been our dream to own a home on Roatan for many years and we are excited to share our dream with you! We have curated the home with local furnishings including one-of-kind art and furniture pieces from local island craftsmen to give you an authentic experience during your stay.

You'll find our Caretaker-to be most helpful and pleasant and our experienced Property Manager--Liz Riggs will exceed your every expectation.

The space

CASA CARIBE is a highly secluded one-of-a-kind BEACHFRONT home on a private 3-acre jungle-adjacent estate with 360 degree views overlooking the Ocean & Barrier Reef, Politilly Bay and the Jungle canopy.

Whether you're looking for extreme privacy, a honeymoon hideaway, family vacation or group retreat, find it here. A private Pool & Hot Tub with sunset views and numerous hammocks will keep you relaxed in this paradise.

We make SCUBA easy. The nearby dive shop will pick you up by boat from our private dock, or if you own all your own equipment, you can charter our personal boat

Price includes the entire home (3 bed / 3 bath) and access to the full estate grounds and property.

Our concrete constructed beach home is at water's edge with 2 private beaches in Politilly Bight overlooking the turquoise colored waters of the Bay & Caribbean and all the way around to the luscious green canopy of the Jungle. The 3-acre property is fully fenced, gated and locked and the home & main yard are separately gated within. Surrounding neighbors all have multiple acre properties ensuring your privacy and solitude for ultimate relaxation.

Unlike most properties on the island **ALL WATER IS DRINKABLE** coming from any faucet on the grounds as it is double sand filtered, ozonated and filtered by UV light, making it completely safe and drinkable. No need for bottled water or worrying if it is safe. You can even drink the hose water!

For your comfort and convenience, our on-site Caretaker, will be available to assist you with any needs at the property. He stays in our caretaker's residence at the East end of our property. The grounds and home are also monitored by an offsite security company through an alarm and camera system.

Upon arrival you will be greeted with fresh coconuts. Anything you need, he is always just a phone call or holler away. Whether it's an early morning kayak launch or late night concern, he will be there to assist you! Oscar is a local islander from nearby Milton Bight and he can regale you with stories and island history for hours if you are interested.

After coming inside, you'll find cold refreshments, fresh fruit and a few goodies to help you recover from your flight to our island-paradise!

The Ground floor has a garage (locked) and laundry and utility rooms. In the Laundry Room you'll find a washer and dryer for your convenience.

On the 1st floor are the Bedrooms. Each Bedroom has its own AC system and separate ceiling fan to ensure maximum comfort.

--The Master Suite has a dreamy King Bed and very comfortable Double-size Futon. From the bed you can clearly see the Ocean and Pool and peeks of the Jungle just outside. There is a large walk-through closet and oversized bathroom, and just outside the private door is the pool deck!

--The 1st Guest Bedroom has a Queen Bed and a private doorway directly out to the pool deck. Views of the Ocean, Pool, Beach and Jungle can be seen from this room.

--The 2nd Guest Bedroom has a Queen Bed and 2 hand-carved rocking chairs. Views of the Jungle dominate the windows but the Ocean can easily be seen from this room also! The private exterior door opens onto the pool deck for easy access.

There is a shared bathroom just outside the 2 Guest Bedroom doors.

The Top Floor is an expansive open space with Chef's Kitchen, Dining Room, Sitting Area, and TV Lounge. There is also a 1/2 bath with toilet and sink adjacent the kitchen. Four extra-large fans with custom hand-carved wooden fan blades adorn the locally sourced Honduran Pine vaulted ceiling and compliment the six-foot wrought iron chandelier. Cook large family meals using state of the art appliances, granite counter-tops and a well-equipped kitchen. Or enjoy a good book in the Sitting Area, catch the big game on the new 55" LCD TV in the TV Lounge or sit out on the deck in a hammock gazing out over the turquoise waters. If grilling is your fancy, Mensen will happily bring the BBQ up from the garage for you to use just outside one of the kitchen doors.

Outside on the Top wraparound Deck you'll find several hooks to place one of the many hammocks you'll find on property. There is also a large hand carved wooden table on the Deck for outdoor eating. And finally you can bird watch using our binoculars, relax and read a book, take a nap or just stare out into the jungle while laying in a hammock

Getting around

We can arrange for a rental car for your stay if you would like to explore the island. The cost varies from $300 to 800 per wk depending on the type and size of vehicle. Other options are available. Please ask.

OTHER THINGS TO NOTE: Remember to bring sunscreen and bugspray. Per week of your stay you will be provided with $5/day toward your electricity usage. This more than covers use of all home fans, pool, lights, appliances, etc. Electricity usage will be recorded by our Property Manager and she can answer any questions during your stay about this policy. CANCELLATIONS: We highly encourage you to purchase travel insurance to cover the cost of your reservation in the event you are unable to arrive. No refund wills be issued to guests canceling within 45 days of arrival due to the seasonality and location of the home making it impossible to backfill a cancelled reservation quickly.

How do damage deposits work?
