We have just been awarded 3* by the local tourist board. Brolange is situated in a small hamlet in the Commune de Soubran, on a quiet country lane about 3kms from the nearest Market Town of Mirambeau. Mirambeau is situated within 10 mins drive of the main Paris to Bordeaux A10 Motorway. JN 37 / at the 484KMS milestone
The house was built during the reign of Napoleon III. Built in the Charentaise style from local sandstone, lime mortar & Roman tiles. Renovated and insulated to a high standard, the house forms a hollow square around the central patio. In the style of a Roman Villa.
The accommodation comprises 2 Master bedrooms, 2 other bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 1 large kitchen diner, 1 separate kitchen, 1 Lounge/Dining Room and 1 large Lounge.) The house sleeps 8 to 10 people. Arranged in 2 linked apartments around a central patio, so ideal for 2 families holidaying together.
Rental periods are flexible off season but we prefer whole weeks Sat-Sat in July August. Monthly rentals available at reduced rates out of season for those wishing to avoid UK winters.
We provide all bedding and bath towels, changed weekly.
There is free WiFi and televisions in both lounges.
Board games, dvd player with selection of films are available for rare rainy days.
Brolange is conveniently situated for local pools, swimming lakes and aquapark. Nearest Beach is Meschers-sur-Gironde less than an hour away. Quiet wooded location with walks/bike routes. However all amenities within easy access Mirambeau (5kms) Jonzac (14kms)
There is plenty of outside space to enjoy. In addition to the central patio courtyard with dining & relaxing areas, there is a separate terrace ideally placed to get the morning sun. The enclosed back garden has plenty of space for the kids to run around and is well away from the nearest small road.
On arrival you will find a welcome pack with some basic foodstuffs to see you through to a supermarket run on Sunday Morning. The house is fully equipped for cooking, dining etc.
