ATTENTION ALL CYCLING FANS! THE TOUR DE FRANCE FINISHES A LEG OF THE RACE IN NEARBY POITIERS 8TH JULY 2020, BOOK EARLY TO AVOID DISAPOINTMENT!

One of 3 gites available at Gites du Marigné,Chez Hibboux is a converted barn in a rustic, comfortable style. A further 2 bedroom gite, Chez Tournesol and a one bedroomed cottage, La Petite Maison are also on site and can be booked individually or together. The gite is situated in over 2 acres of meadow and gardens. We keep organically fed chickens in our fruit orchard and delicious fresh eggs are available. Hiboux has 3 generous bedrooms, the master has a separate WC. The family bathroom features a traditional French slipper bath. The living room has a large flat screen TV, DVD player and selection of films, books and games provided for your enjoyment. WIFI is also available. The kitchen is well equipped and has a microwave, dishwasher and large fridge freezer. All linens and towels are provided as well as a welcome hamper. Hiboux benefits from it's own private garden and barbecue area and access to the large, heated pool and children's play area. We also have a petanque pitch and a variety of outdoor play equipment, freely available. A log fire ensures a cosy feel in the colder months. A complimentary barrow of wood is provided from November to April. We are a 5 minute drive away from local shops and the market town of Civray which has markets twice a week, great boulangerie and charcuterie. The area is excellent for cycling and canoeing. Bike hire can be arranged on site, please ask us for details. Well behaved dogs are welcome at a small charge.
