Stone cottage in South west France
Ceps Cottage - based in a small hamlet just outside Roquebrun, boasts comfortable accommodation with 3 bedrooms and barbecue facilities and a terrace. The house has free WiFi.
TheTerrace is flagged in stone and has seating and a table for 4 . Offering also a BBQ facility to all guests.
The property is small, cosy and intimate, a country cottage. There are now 3 bedrooms in the house.
You enter the house directly into the living area and kitchen, breakfast can be taken inside, or in warmer weather on the stone terrace opposite the house. There is a wood burner for winter months creating a romantic getaway break or winter adventure in the south of France.
Up a couple of steps and you go through to the dressing room, ensuite shower room and double bedroom with kingsize bed and views over the rooftops to the river. Ideal for a couple wanting privacy.
On the first floor the double bedroom is small but charming with exposed stone wall and open beams, and kingsize bed. It looks out onto the terrace. There is also have a twin room on this floor. There is a separate bathroom opposite, with bath and hand held shower, toilet and sink. The property has been renovated but we have tried to keep as much of its character and rustic charm as possible.
Quiet hamlet location
Ceps cottage is ideal for those of you who want to be out and about, but base yourselves in a lovely part of the world - away from a busy village. The Hamlet of Ceps is bustling with wine makers and has a lovely river beach just 2 mins from the house, ideal for walking directly from the door. You can cycle or walk into Roquebrun if you are feeling fit (it takes just under 2 hours each way on foot or 20 mins on a bike).
Well behaved pets are welcome, just let us know you're bringing them. The two king-size bedrooms are equipped with a wardrobe and the bathrooms have free toiletries and a hairdryer. The three bedroomed house offers river views and has a flat-screen in the living which can only be used via an HDMI lead to stream from a laptop. You may need to bring a lead adapted for your laptop. We are planning to update to a screen for streaming for summer 2024.
Bedrooms on the first floor have exposed beams and exposed stone wall and a view onto the terrace where you can have breakfast/ drinks/ BBQ during your stay.
Bedroom 3 is on the ground floor and looks onto the river and and has en-suite and a dressing room. The bathroom for the upstairs bedroom has a roll top bath and over the bath hand shower.
All Linen is Provided
Towels and toiletries are provided at the house. If you would like beach towels during your stay we can add these for an additional 5 euros each.
For short stays or stays longer than 1 month out of season please contact us for a price.
Fire wood is not included in the price for out of season let's so you will need to buy this separately.
