Swoop through electric gates to find a modern, horseshoe-shaped, single-storey, shuttered house. The right side of which is your private accommodation.

Inside there isn’t a thing out of place: find a sleek fitted kitchen with cool grey walls, tiled floors, a dishwasher and a table to seat 4. The open plan sitting area is fresh and modern: TV fans will be happy with free English satellite channels, comfy sofas and a coffee table.

Two bedrooms (both with French doors leading to their own terraces) have luxurious mattresses, hotel quality duvets and pillows, crisp and inviting bed linen; the bathroom is fresh and sparkly.

The immaculate garden and big pool may tempt you to stay put, but you’re near to Pujols (officially the most picturesque village in France), bikes are yours to borrow, there’s golf at Villeneuve-sur-Lot and a water park nearby. Will suit two couples or one with older children.

Hippies must look elsewhere!

Boutique Gite France is a light and airy self-contained gite surrounded by an acre of carefully manicured grounds. It is nestled within a picturesque hamlet accessible by traditional, quiet French country lanes. Artisan cafés and beautiful flower-bedecked streets are only 8 minutes away offering guests a truly special setting in which to relax.

The spacious gite is the right wing of the main house and is all on one level, useful for those with limited mobility.

Our gite is tastefully decorated throughout in a chic, French country style. Much attention has been given to the smaller details; the furniture uses locally sourced wood and compliments the stone tiles beautifully: clean, simple and elegant finishing treats discerning guests to a memorable stay.

The gite comprises of an open plan kitchen and living area, 2 double bedrooms and a bathroom with bath and shower. The gite has both heating and air conditioning to provide a comfortable environment all year round.

Bedroom 1, is airy and bright with dual aspect windows. It features a king-sized bed and large separate dressing area. Bedroom 2 has a double bed and French windows opening on to a sun terrace overlooking the private swimming pool beyond. Both beds have exceptionally comfortable mattresses and are fitted with wonderfully soft and inviting bed-linen. The kitchen, bathroom and laundry room are well stocked with essentials including quality linens, towels, cooking utensils, washing machine and all the small appliances you will need.

The outside living space is a haven for relaxation with a 12m x 5m heated swimming pool, with Roman steps for easy access, sun loungers and parasols, a barbecue area, sun terrace with comfortable settees and a table with chairs for alfresco dining.
