Description

This is a cedar sided two story cabin. It has a very private feel to it and is just a short walk down to the creek. The upper story features two queen size beds, a half bath and a balcony overlooking the tree tops with the most fantastic view. It’s a great place to have your coffee in the morning! The lower story comes equipped with a full size kitchen, a full bath, twin inset bunks in the bunk nook and two futons in the living/dining area, one of which is part of a bunk with a twin top. Both the upstairs and downstairs sinks are located outside the bathrooms for convenience for larger groups. The downstairs also has a porch area with seating and a porch swing.

All rentals are equipped with outdoor seating, a table, fire pit and charcoal grill. Guests will also be provided with dishes, pots/pans, utensils, all linens, hand soap, dish soap and toilet paper. There is a tree house on property with a smaller rock climbing wall and play area for the kids. Guests are free to use the provided canoes, explore the 6 acre property and swim and fish in the creek. Locally there are many lakes, state parks, wineries, eateries, shops and more to explore.

Pets are welcome, but the pet fee must be paid. We do ask that pets be kenneled while indoors to ensure they aren’t on the furniture. They are free anywhere outside on a leash. If pets are not kenneled and have been on furniture, a $100 cleaning fee can be assessed.

We promote a family friendly atmosphere, and since we also have other cabins that we rent on this property, we ask that there be no loud or rowdy parties. Quiet time outside is 10pm. Also, please no extra guests without our consent. We try to keep the property private so that our guests can enjoy it. Guests must be 25 years of age or older to book. No third party bookings, please. Whoever books the property must be staying on the property.

Response from the owner Thank you for your review! Yes, the stairs to enter the cabin are a bit steep, so they definitely would be a challenge for the mobility impaired. We do have other cabins that have less stairs and are easier to access, if that would be an issue in the future! Also, the oven has been recently cleaned, and the smoke is probably due to residual oven cleaner. I do try to burn it off after I clean it, but maybe some was left behind. So sorry about that!
