“Full of character!!!” I stayed here along with my boyfriend for a week, we were giving a warm welcome by the owner and to my delight the fire was buring brightly as we arrived. The house was warm and cosy and very homely with comfortable beds. We enjoyed going for walks along the country roads and even came across a duck pond. The location was ideal, its only 15 minutes from letterkenny. I have already looked into booking a week next year and look forward to the warm hospitality i recieved from John and Barry.

“Fantastic accomodation and Beautiful Views” This peaceful quite location was so relaxing, serene and beautiful. The house was more than we ever expected. The decor, and fine detail to everything was like being home away from home. The house was warm, cozy, had all the ammenties we needed, and was spotlessly clean. Barry was so kind and friendly making us feel at home immediately. Any questions or concerns that we had, he was responsive immediately and catered to our every needs. We would fully recommend this vacation rental for couples and/or families. Great location, close to the town of Ramelton, plus a short drive to Letterkenny, close to all highways if you had any other sigtseeing to do in other countys. We would absolutely love to stay in the house again and would be very disappointed for our next vacation if the house was not available.

A true gem

Just home from a fabulous week in Mountain View. The Coyle family are so special. Friendly, warm and helpful. Nothing is a problem. They made us feel like family. The house itself is beautiful, spotlessly clean and such fabulous attention to detail. Really felt like a home away from home. The area surrounding is beautiful and relaxed. I felt very safe!. The booking was quick, simple and smooth with friendly attentive owners making us feel more than welcome right from the outset. This house is in a stunning location: easy found, lots of car parking space and easy access to local shops in Ramelton. From you first set eyes on The Thatch you will fall in love with it, just like we have. The house is stunning, clearly cared for to highest quality, very clean and really comfortable. The beds are great, the stove is first class. It is just perfect for a relaxing time away. It hasn't changed; it is exactly the same at our first visit. Worth noting the stunning views from this property and the lovely walks suitable for all people depending on how adventurous you wish to be. Barry and John are truly attentive owners who are there if you need them yet they by no means intrude. Just perfect. You will find everything you need at this property - and more. No need to bring any kitchen utensils etc as all is supplied. Stove set and ready to light on arrival. Ample supply for firelighters and blocks. This house is easy to heat; warm, cosy and very homely. Perfection to the last detail. After staying in other properties in Donegal in the past this is the one we will continue to return to.
